superstande: hihihi... I was guessing you'd be either fast asleep or would come running :)

zeogold: Took me darn near half an hour before I knew it was here. Nobody around here tells me when important stuff like this is going on.

avatar
superstande: yes, it is correct: death...
It was actually from a game, although in it, more elaborate and a bit longer.
Took me quite a while actually to guess it :)
avatar
zeogold: I immediately suspected it was death after hearing "it comes to everyone". The fact that it "eats everything" confirmed it.

Also, what's with the new avatar? Are you closing down the soup shop?
Ah, darn. Perhaps you should hire a secretary :)

Ah, well... not closing down, perhaps, just taking a holiday :) ...since I'm not around that often this spring what with work and all that... but maybe I'll get inspired to bring it back later, with new flavours :)
Well...just lost an hour and a half of progress to a bug. Wonderful.
Guess I need to start saving endlessly.

Argh. that's really annoying.
Not knowing if the thing hits again, saving all the time. Yet, it's kind of annoying to having to save all the time too.

Yes it is. Need to bite the bullet, start the game up and speed through what I already did.

well, it's a gamble, but it might be worth it :)
I'm having the problem of not saving enough in bgee... just won a big battle in main quest. Didn't save... and soon ended up finding a trap that killed one of the party instantly. Now I have hard time winning the battle again for some reason :)
I guess I could've just gone to a temple for a resurrection... but was too lazy for that.

Hello!

Guys, I want to know your perspectives about this. Especially for those people who grew loving these LEGO games: Lego Soccer Mania, Island Xtreme Stunts, LEGO Racers 2, and Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.

Do you prefer the old LEGO games or the new ones that have shiny models, a large variety of features, etc.? For the old games, I'll refer to the LEGO games that were published on 2009 and before that time. Some of the games I mentioned earlier are a few of those games.

That was my first question. The second one, is why did you choose that answer?

For me, I prefer the old LEGO games more than the new ones. To me, the vibrant colors on the maps of the games give me this weird vibe and make me feel more immersed. I actually miss the days where all the LEGO characters had yellow color as their skins' colors. Maybe some of you guys might agree with me when I say the shiny models for the new LEGO games are rather unnecessary. Many old LEGO games that I know, don't even have those. Even if they had, they used them only for reflections and etc.

The new many features also make me dislike the new games even more. These new features are like the abilities that certain LEGO characters have in their games, and voice overs. I'm not really against it since I'm just giving my opinion on this, but these features just make me concentrate more on them rather than enjoying the games. In the old LEGO games, their simplicity in terms of game mechanics made me able to spend my time more in those games, like looking at the views, etc., as long as they are not about completing the level.

Thanks.

Well, sorry, but no definitive answer here. I like them both. The older ones were always a lot of fun and I liked that they did not have as much "hand holding" as the newer ones. But I also like features of the newer ones like voice overs :D

I'm doing well. A bit of a headache, but... pluck that. I won't let it ruin my day. When life gives you lemons, say "pluck lemons! I'm making cookies instead!"
How about you?

*big get well hug* I like that mindset. Cookies are always good and baking is fun :D
Doing ok here, today is a holiday, so while I still need to do some things, it is nice to be able to do them at home ;-)

Yeah, baking is fun. I'm getting addicted to it really quickly. And getting a slightly larger belly from it too >:-p I need to bake worse food so I won't eat all of it in 23 minutes :-) [/zero self control]
Oh, that's right! Happy Cinco de Mayo!! \o/

*laugh* Oh well, but it is nice. I don't bake very often anymore since sure baking cookies for one person is not a problem, but I also loved baking cakes and that is jsut a waste since it is way too much for one person.
