Blast! I got more adventure games... perhaps one day I shall actually finish a play through of one.

Which ones did you grab and which ones did you already have?
From the "ghosts" of promos past, (installed but never finished) Tales of Monkey Island, Book of Unwritten Tales, Gemini Rue, Flight of the Amazon Queen and Beneath a Steel sky.
Though I still have Gemini Rue and Beneath a Steel Sky installed.

Only 11 in total, you can get through those. Even at 25 hours apiece, you can have those wiped out in a couple months time. =)

I like the artwork, solving puzzles and mysteries, plus the story telling and humor, I just get lost in the hunting for objects, or navigating through the illogical parts of these type of games, without something to shoot or blow-up to ease the monotony.

The pharmacy is in the very back of a packed grocery store in the opposite corner from the entrance. I had to walk through the middle of 5 gazillion people, spreading germs as I went and then back again to get to my car.
3 days from now about 1000 people will probably call in sick. Talk about planning, I fell like typhoid Endre. :/

There are only so many truly horrible games a person can "gift" to someone through GOG.
The competition, though....they have oodles and oodles of games any sane person would be mortified to have.
I can totally make use of that....>=)
Gives new meaning to the phrase "steaming pile of..."

In other news. I got a call for a job interview. The commute would be a paltry 250 miles. Oh joy, I'm sooo thrilled.

I was also figuring on being awake later. Not sure if I woke up on my own or if a dog did it, but either way here I am. -laughs-

And yeah, pretty sure I can turn "steaming pile of tweed" into a catchphrase/kiss of death.
Also, the commute's only 250 miles? You could totally bicycle that! (And hopefully video the whole thing. I get the feeling that'd have Youtube gold written all over it. ;)

Hrrrm, the end of the humble sale is inminent. The "missed deals" button is gone and the daily roster of games on sale hasn't updated.
Space Hulk is there still, for a similar price to the pigeon game and about the same quality and value of entertainment.
Do I yield to WH40K fanboyism and buy that piece of foetid tripe spewed from the foul bowels of Nurgle? Or do I exercise criteria?

And yet, no Heroquest....Assholes. Will have to settle for Warhammer Quest, I guess.
Also, a hack and slash came to mind - Killer is Dead. It's on discount right now as well.
OR! You could skip everything both you and I mentioned, buy Final Fantasy 8, 13 and 13-2, then find a gas oven to shove your head into! Doesn't that sound like fun too? -laughs-

Oh, I also have Botanicula and Machinarium too, if those are also in the genre.

I'm still considering if i should get the Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers and Mortal Kombat Komplete edition from the sale. Don't know much of those two.
