Yet again I make a gift purchase, and instead of taking me to the confirmation page I get taken to the GOG homepage. It takes the money, but does not register that I bought the gift, in fact it keeps the game in the basket. So now I have to contact support again, and see how long it takes them to answer. This seems to be happening more and more recently with Paypal. So now I have to wait for support. Granted previously it has been fixed quite quickly, but there is always that time when I get the bad end of support and it takes a while, which is a shame. *sighs*

That really sucks. I hope they fix the problem really fast. At least support tends to respond rather quickly when money is involved (order/checkout problems), at least in my experience.

Good morning, all the people who just turned up. (I am too tired to reply to all separately, sorry. :-))

Support seems to have fixed my problem now, although I did not get a confirmation from them this time, just the emails for the order being complete. So at least I have the code now, but I do wish it would not keep happening. But so far it has not taken GOG support long to fix the problem, so from the limited experience I have had with their support it is very good.

I am doing good, thank you. I had a wonderful weekend with my partner, a really wonderful weekend, which has cheered me up greatly. And I am hopefully going to have a lovely week, especially towards the end of the week, so I am doing good. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow for a few things, including some more blood tests and things. Then hopefully to work for some time as well later in the week.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Insomnia promos as well. Sadly, I don't think I will be able to participate this time. Maybe I will grab a game or two if I'm lucky to check the site at a good moment but I won't stay to see all games coming. Too bad!
So, I guess if there are no Staff Picks this week it will be a sign of a sale or Insomnia perhaps?

Fingers crossed then that we get the sale that you and many of the others are so eagerly awaiting. While I can't really take part with the sale like I used to at the moment, I know it will make lots of people happy so it will be nice to have an Insomnia sale again.
