Nicole28: After coincidentally clicking on the "Paranautical Activity is coming to GOG" thread, it kind of prompted me to take a look over at the "upcoming" tab on GOG, and I was totally stoked to see Sunless Sea on the list! I loved Fallen London (what I've played of so far), so this is a treat. :D
Well the batshit insane dev resigned, hopefully the people left have more maturity and a better business sense. Although a 3 year old toddler probably has better business sense than Maulbeck did.

I don't understand why people make jokes about Walmart. Because they sell guns and it's a meeting place for rednecks? Or because several freakout videos take place there.

We can take this to PM if you really want but the short version is that walmart is one of the most egregious examples of terrible labor practices in the world.

That said, I try not to judge people who shop there since a lot of folks simply don't have a choice, and have gotten things from there myself from time to time.

The Report From Seattle

So, as some of you, at least in this hemisphere, are aware, Seattle's professional American football team played in a big game yesterday. They lost.

I went to a barbecue. In Burien, Washington. And we shot off massive fireworks from a mortar after every score. Wow, that was an incredibly stereotypical way to watch the Seahawks. Lots of fun.

But we mixed it up as well. Because almost everyone was a foreigner. I think that may now be my favorite way to watch football. With very hot Brazilian chicks yelling, "Oh no, he's gonna do a TOSHDOWN!"

Maulbeck actually rejoined Code Avarice pretty quickly, as soon as it was apparent Steam wouldn't reinstate the game. It should also be mentioned that the other dev acts every bit as childish, crass, and disrespectful of potential customers as his partner.
