pimpmonkey2382.313: Original and next gen were probably my favorites. I did like DS9, but it wasn't as fun as the previous two series, though trials and tribble-ations was a damned fun DS9 episode, so was any of the mirror universe DS9 episodes. Voyager and enterprise though...those were quite horrible IMO.
I can't really remember the original series that much. I remember it had the lady who played Batgirl in it as a green alien. But that is about it. I can't remember much of any of them really, just little bits.

EndreWhiteMane: We have an obvious case of America envy going on here so I'll just say:

Buy Stick of Truth, it has a kid that looks just like Mr Spock!
You know? The Brilliant and Logical Mr Spock, from Star Trek!
:-)
How dare you try to push DRM on us. The nerve of you Americans. ;-)
I like the look of the South Park game, but not the DRM. So I will have to pass.

ddickinson: Well I do have a nice toned tummy like she does (although maybe not as muscly defined). :-)

But think about it. You have two arms, I have two arms. The last I looked that makes 4. Unless you Americans are now changing maths like you do with spellings. :-)

*big silly hug*

P.S. This is the only version of the character I have played. Back on the Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis I think it was called in the USA).

I see the problem... you are using maths, while I'm using math. Two totally different hings ;-)

That looks like the one I remember playing back in the 90's. I only chose the picture I found because that was the one with the most clothing, and well, I'm a gentleman ;-p

*bigger and sillier hug*

Absolutely love the original. Used to be the show I'd watch every day after elementary school.

ddickinson: Damn, it seems I have annoyed one of the nerds. :-)

I know, I guess I am basing it on the fact of all the Star Wars nerds and being sick of hearing about all the new Star Wars film. I can't wait for it to be all over and forgotten. You are right about fans that are to fanatical, and they are found in every area, not just the Star War and Star Trek franchises.
Why should i be annoyed by the thruth? :)

Yes..it is getting a bit too much with the new Star Wars. Well i am looking forward to it but i'm getting a bit annoyed about the coverage of it as well...but i hope the movie will be better than Abrams two Star Trek which were somewhat disappointed after all...

Yes and most of those fanatical fans are really annoying. I actually surprise how some peopler are devoting their entire lifes for some of those franchises......

ElTerprise: Good evening.
What do you mean with broken? Just gave it a short try and the site was working for me...
But i can imagine that this really sucks....having to rely on a "Modern UI" app....

Quite good. Well having bad luck in Rebel Galaxy at the moment but i'm enjoying some beer and now listening to some music so everythings fine :)
I feel silly now. Hadn't really thought about shifting over to Chrome. Was used to Firefox. But I'm running Chrome now, going to see how it works out. Thank you for reminding me. =)

ElTerprise: Well depends on what kind of pint you're referring to - but i could use the term Schoppen for half a litre to use non-metric units ;)
Plus i thought we were supposed to drink lütt un lütt :P (not that i tried that yet)...

I'm currently playing Rebel Galaxy ... really enjoyable game with a fantastic soundtrack :D

Glad to hear that :)
You can use all the made up words you like, it won't help. :-)

I am glad to hear you are enjoying your game. I have never really tried many space games. I have one from GOG I think, but I have never played any. Not really my kind of thing I don't think.

That must be it. Who would think that little s would make all the difference. :-)

I guess she was wearing a lot less in those days, and it was a real person. I have not played the games in a long time, but they used to be fun.

*big return hug*

I know many people seem to prefer the original series, well, the older fans do. The younger ones tend to prefer all the new stuff, which I guess is to be expected.

I thought he did a great job with Mission Impossible 3. If he does as well with SW, I'll be happy... I doubt I'll see it anytime soon though...
Hello Everyone!
Glad to read DD you are doing a bit better! \o/

I used to be a Star Wars fan by the way. But episode I just ruined it for me :p

Kinda nice to stay up late again after a very long time...
I'm currently wondering how unethical it is to do some gravedigging in Wasteland 2...
I remember in Fallout you gained a funny tag if you did that too much...
I mean it is kinda strange... but I'm just so darn curious :p

It is a Disney movie that ticks all the political correctness boxes and Hollywood movie checklist. So I would imagine it will be the same as most over Hollywood movies, just with a Star Wars skin. The fans will sing its praise and condemn anyone that says they are rubbish. Just like so many did with the last three that were made. I just don't understand fanatical fans, not just with Star Wars or Star Trek but anything. Some fans get so violent and angry and obsessed with such silly things. Like you said, some seem to devote their life to them, and they will argue with anyone with a different opinion about that they like, a bit like many AAA game fanboys.

I didn't play any beyond the third game (around 1997ish). It was so controversial, which made it even more fun :-)

ddickinson: Good evening, Mr Crow!

Are you doing well?

It does indeed. But I had a little good news with my test results. Not as good as we had hoped, and still not out of the danger zone just yet, but some signs of improvement, so hopefully that is a great sign. But I still have lots to keep me happy, namely the love of my life. I doubt there i anything that life can throw at me that will really get me down as long as I have her. Today has not really been a great day with my health stuff, but a lovely evening has made sure that there is no sign of me being sad about it.
Doing okay here. The weekend might be more active, but for now it's a quiet day. Fiddling around with computer stuff while pointedly avoiding playing Puzzle Quest 2 and thinking about what to get relatives for the end of the year what-not.

Gradual improvement is acceptable, so long as there's improvement. Want you to be feeling better, not worse.

Something worth living for...always a good thing. =)

I was no implying you were very old. I am younger than you but I am still old enough to know about the older series. Many of the younger fans probably don't even know about the older shows.

How are you enjoying Wasteland 2? Not a game that really jumped out at me, but people seem to really enjoy it.

You're welcome. Usually only use Firefox but i always have Chrome as a backup and when i'm on Linux using Chrome is actually the only way to watch Netflix :)

How dare you insult the traditional language from Northern Germany which is actually much more related to English and Frisian than the "normal" German is ;)

Well Space games are rather niche i'd say although RG is not a fullblown space game like the X-series or Freelancer or something like that.
