Hi everyone !
Happy back to the future day!

Where we're going we don't need roads.
This is a really weird time of year to be having a huge thunderstorm. I love it. :-)

Age of Decadence or Rebel Galaxy? That is the biggest question in my life at the moment.
(It was what to have for dinner but I got that one handled.)
Both look like games I'd enjoy a lot, the AoD demo was cool, but I can't get both.

I'm not really asking for opinions, but I'd take some, just felt like typing something.
(More random thoughts here.)

I'm downloading Rebel Galaxy right now myself (second day one purchase here!). I was sorely tempted by A o D last week. I'm sure Hard West in the next couple weeks will also be tempting. I bet I'll be wanting to grab A o D sooner rather than later and the devs will most likely get me to bite with only a minor sale.

I can filter along some impressions later on tonight / over the next couple of days if you're interested.

Thanks, I'd appreciate that, no one REALLY seems to know exactly what kind of game it is. :-)

LOL! I'm pretty sure I hit it right on the head with "open world, Assassin's Creed ship combat" with some light RPG equipment upgrades and adventure aspects (most of that coming from interaction with characters). But I'm guessing the focus is going to be action / blasting gameplay - I just hope it doesn't feel too repetitive too quickly.

At least that's what I'm hoping for - on a side note, I'm glad I'm not in an impatient mood tonight - because it was "only" 2 gigs I decided not to mainline my desktop for the download... yeah...
*hugs everyone* Hello there. :D

Hm...tried Rebel Galaxy for a few minutes. Has an awesome Country/Rock/folk whatever soundtrack...gives me a nice Firefly vibe :).
Looks like a Privateer / Darkstar One / Freelancer type of game...but it only plays on a flat plane instead of real 3D and utilises naval style combat...(broadsides + turrets). And it recommends using a controller. And it apparently only has autosaves...hm i wonder if that is also on consoles....

Have to play some more of it but i like the bit i played :)

The 2D is fine with me, I just hope it's not all combat though I have a feeling most of it will be.

Not really but I got bored of lying in bed.

From what i've played i assume there will a lot of combat....no idea how robust the economy system in that game really is....

Being an American I should be thrilled silly with the idea of blowing stuff up while listening to country rock.
As a matter of fact I think maybe I am. :-)

Well in that case the game might be for you - from what i've seen plus it's not a bad looker. And apparently it allows custom music and the ingame soundtrack are just .ogg files :)
