I think there's a bit of nostalgia tinting your goggles there. I used to like both the spider-man and the X-men 90's cartoons, but on hindsight they weren't that good. They weren't bad, just not as excellent as we make them out to be.
On the other hand. Batman animated was and will always be, absolutely brilliant.

You might not like spidey that much but I'd implore you to take a look at the spectacular spider-man series. Probably the best adaptation to ever grace the TV screen and then tell me what you think. The new ultimate spider-man cartoon is shit. Runny, stinking unhealthy shit. I blame the cunts who made Ben10 for it, and Family Guy.

The Avengers also got a <span class="bold">fantastic</span> cartoon a few years ago that was absolutely amazing, and yet again, got axed and replaced by a more cinematic-like but much weaker cartoon created by... what a surprise... the Ben10 team again.

Seriously are these guys sucking every single Disney exec under their desk or what?

I checked some screenshots of the Larry games, and they seem so interesting! It turned me up!

Nostalgia? Perhaps. But you watch one of the new X-Men or Spiderman cartoon episodes and you tell me the older ones were not better. I have never liked Spiderman, or many of the other superheroes. Not that I have seen many, I did not watch much TV when I was younger, and I watch even less now.

I wonder what percentage of overall sales these slow burn phases make for GOG. People can dip in when they want (not that things have been at all rushed this time around) and guiltlessly buy a cheapie here and there and spend another £20 quite easily by sale's end. Its the harmless bunny method. You give the thing a little stroke and before you know it you're taking it home with you.
