ddickinson: X-Men was always my favourite Marvel cartoon when I was younger. It was so much cooler and had such great and varied stories. I was not a fan of things like Spiderman, it was just one city and all the stories were just the same - there is only so much you can do in one location. I used to enjoy the Batman series, the one with Mark Hamill as joker. In fact, there were lots of great cartoons in the 80s and 90s. From what I have seen of the more modern cartoons they seem horrible now.
I think there's a bit of nostalgia tinting your goggles there. I used to like both the spider-man and the X-men 90's cartoons, but on hindsight they weren't that good. They weren't bad, just not as excellent as we make them out to be.
On the other hand. Batman animated was and will always be, absolutely
brilliant.
You might not like spidey that much but I'd implore you to take a look at the
spectacular spider-man series. Probably the best adaptation to ever grace the TV screen and then tell me what you think. The new ultimate spider-man cartoon is shit. Runny, stinking unhealthy shit. I blame the cunts who made Ben10 for it, and Family Guy.
The Avengers also got
Ben10 team again.
Seriously are these guys sucking every single Disney exec under their desk or what?
