Good day.
Getting caught up with what I've missed in the thread.

avatar
CarrionCrow: I live on a shitty sand mountain
avatar
Ixamyakxim: I need to find a way to pepper this into average conversation on a daily basis.
How about Shitty Sand Sierra? Now it's an alliteration.

avatar
EndreWhiteMane: No major water or geography around here so we pretty much get whatever the winds bring us.
We do have a large river through the city. All it does is make the heat more humid.

avatar
Ixamyakxim: FU to anyone that says otherwise, that was a good movie! ;)
A movie? I thought it was a 90 minute long H&S commercial.

avatar
HypersomniacLive: I managed to sleep for a couple of hours, then the mosquito battle started.
I know about that. A common grandma remedy are jasmine blooms, which are supposed to ward them off. At least they smell nice.

XxXSprayvWarXxX: Oh noes!!!! I just bought a Paysafe card to buy Game of Thrones, but GOG doesn't let me to do the purchase! I'm gonna miss the sale.
avatar
moonshineshadow: What is the problem? Have you contacted support?
I get a window saying the transaction can't be finished. Please Try Again. Now I'm contacting Support about it, but I doubt they will find me a solution in about 25 minutes. :(
avatar
moonshineshadow: *big happy wave* Good idea, I'll swim some extra in the lake for you :D
Hope you are doing well?
Thank you kind Valkyrie! :-)

Here are my latest health news; all things considered, I'm fairly ok. :-)

Soccorro: Hey hyper! :D How are you and the pope doing?
The Pope is out of control, he insists on getting every bundle and title from the sale even though he knows he doesn't have the time to play any of them. Trying hard to keep him in line, but he's sneaky; it's going to be a very long 2-weeks. ;-P

How are you doing?

Did you try again? Had that error once and when I tried again five minutes later it worked fine :-)

Yes I keep trying and I will, but nothing so far.

ddickinson: Hello, Owl! *big sunny but still very cold and windy hug*

Nope, no sleep at all. Hopefully tonight I will have better luck.
HOW ARE YOU EVEN AWAKE! Even when I was youthful and spry (allow me a little white lie) my record is 28 hours and the last 4 of those I was half dead on my feet. I practically fell on my face when I finally went to sleep.

Really have a siesta or two, it's seriously bad trying to push beyond the 24 hour limit.

Ah yes I remember. Speedreading all this on my phone is not helpful for keeping track of things :D
I hope that everything goes well so that you are not bothered by your back anymore :-)
Forum being a bitch again, with the disappearing posts.

Less than 20 minutes to decide on the stalker bundle.

One of the things that I enjoyed most about Fallout 3 is how inmersive I found it. The dilapidated environments, the decay, the hopelessness, the sense of lost glory and a world gone by. the sad remorseful music that meshed so perfectly with the beautifully bleak environment to paint a picture of despair.

And from what I hear Stalker achieves that as well.

Does it?

Why isn't Agent here?!!

ddickinson: It seems the thread is hiding posts again. I got a notification of a reply, yet no reply. Then I see the time of the last post, which shows that a new post has been made. A very strange bug indeed.
It's been happening a lot, and at this point, I don't think it's related to site load. Because it happens all the time.

shuffles into the crowd with a cup of tea and a cookie held quaintly in his hands.

Good afternoon everyone ... the exam was a total succes, I breezed through it front to back and I could answer everything effortlessly in one go ... *sips the tea*

now on to more important issues at hand. I've downloaded all the installers from the new games, but which one to start with ... hmmm. *bites the cookie and munches thoughtfully*

We'll start with Clive's undying, I feel like playing a good shooter, that's been a while *flushes the cookie with some more tea, and starts the installer*

And how is everyone arround here doing?

It does indeed have a very dreary impression, which suits the game and theme very well. I could go on for a while talking about that game, but you should really hop in yourself and find out how deep the rabbit hole goes ;)

While walking through the zone you can hear the shrieks and moans of mutant dogs chasing mutant pigs across the hills far away, and the best part is that they're actually there and really chasing each other about far away. You might even get some fur and "parts" out of it to sell to scientists :)

And the graphics are beautifull. I doesn't take looking "good" to make a game look beautifull, and STALKER's graphics have this rough edge that really give the game a whole lot of charm (see the screenshots)

I really recommend it, and if you cannot grab it now, you should really keep it in mind.

edit: this starts playing when the game gets to the main menu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1siPgAVOAtU
