I'm doing ok, no improvement with my back. How about you? How's your mother doing?
Hey BMF59,
Weekend's fairly nice. How's yours going?
Good to hear you're mostly fine.
And hello to everyone else.
Since I've been doing some gardening this past week, I'm sharing two photos of my jewel Lily - fist one is from two days ago, second from today.
On a side note - this threads archiving business did breathe new life to the forum, didn't it? It crawls just like before, if not more.

Sorry about your back.
Actually the forum has been quite responsive for me today. Probably won't be now that I mentioned it. :/

I am good, thank you. Another hour or so of work before I can go home and enjoy my romantic evening. Then tomorrow I am volunteering at the children's hospice for most of the day. Do you have anything nice planned for the weekend?
My mother is doing great, thank you. She is still not out of the wheelchair yet, but due to her poor health she takes a while to heal and recover from these things. But she is doing a lot better and mentally she is doing great.
Those are some lovely pictures.
Speaking of the speed of the site, I did a little test on the tablet (mobile) and desktop sites to see about loading times. Both devices used the same wifi, and both used an Webkit based browser (Safari). I did not clear the cache (so keep that in mind when you see the loading times), and each page had been loaded before I tried to access the page a second time. I find the chat time the most amusing. Please note that these are just my times, others might find it loads a lot quicker on a tablet for them, so do not take this as a true representation, just one persons experience. Also, the chat time could be due to the amount of text on screen, but both the desktop and tablet were loading the exact same page, the same content, with the exact same message on display. So I do not see why the amount of text on screen would be relevant to the test.
The home page:
- Desktop: 4.13 seconds to load.
- Tablet: 8.93 seconds to load.
The Witcher 3 game page:
- Desktop: 4.04 seconds to load.
- Tablet: 6.21 seconds to load.
Chat:
- Desktop: 3.33 seconds to load.
- Tablet: 20.28 seconds to load.

How is the weather for you so far? Do you expect a hot summer this year? I know that is a somewhat dull question, but I know that your part of the US can suffer from weather extremes, and I was just curious.
I will keep my fingers crossed that nothing else will go wrong. Will that take up the rest of your weekend, or just today?

I stopped for today. It is late, and I am not motivated anymore. So need to finish tomorrow :-)

The website says: "ISO-SlantV1.0 a plug in for Unity™, Unreal Engine™ and Maya™". So perhaps it is another poorly optimised Unity game.

Want to hear something strange? Look at the site for IOS-Slant (lined below), they have glasses for the game.
