AgentBirdnest: Personally, I think she seems to love guns a bit too much... but on the other hand, there is the fact that anybody in the country can quite easily get the same weapon as her... so, unfortunately, I guess you need to be able to match that firepower :-/

Hey, I didn't say he was any good :-p ... He could have had a bad idea of what he was doing :-D
Time to hug you Agent.

Come now, do not try to defend it, just admit it was a very silly movie. :-)

ElTerprise: Don't worry. I also like Star Wars, so i'm allowed to express critisism (i hope)...otherwise my Bat'leth is ready :P...i also express critisism towards Star Trek often...:)

No not yet unfortunately. I'm still have to finish other games before starting with it. But i installed it already :)
Well I am eager to see how you react to the game. It has a really good atmosphere, especially at the start before the middle kinda drags it down a little. But overall, a superb game, IMO. And even better with headphones on. :-)

l0rdtr3k: But it's cold outside. You might get something nasty.Stay here where it's warm.
But my work will not get done if I stay here. So I will just keep popping in when I have a few minutes. :-)

Yes, I have seen some of the weapons you Americans are allowed. I mean, what possible reason would you have for land mines and things like that? I can understand basic weapons (even if I do not really agree with it), but why all the other stuff. I read somewhere that there is a state where it is actually legal to own a nuclear device, just as long as you don't use it. I am not sure how true that is (and I think it was probably lying), but I would not put it past you all. :-)

Apparently it's best to choose a german world in germany. The choice eventually only matters in the World vs. World feature. See here.

I'm in Abaddon Mouth (but i still haven't played it yet) as well as Palio and Moon is on Drakkar Lake iirc

That reminds to finally create a character an play some GW2 this weekend...;)

RotJ was pretty silly, yes. I'm not a Star Wars fan in the sense. I kind of like the universe. I loved the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games (got the CD-Collector's Editions in boxes). I also liked Timothy Zahn's post-movies trilogy very much - they could have made some awesome movies out of those.
I also played through all the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games (Dark Forces to Jedi Academy). Jedi Outcast was the best IMO (by Raven).
And let's not talk about the "first" episodes... Midichlorians my ass...

That pretty much sums up my fan stance from either Star Wars and Star Trek. I like both universes (but Trek more). A shame i still haven't read that Zahn books...
And yeah Jedi Outcast was the best, although i liked the possibility of dual wielding light sabers in Jedi Academy :).

Not the complete movie? You mean like a politician (Lando) leading the rebel attack on the Death Star? Or the Millennium Falcon, a cargo type craft being the lead fighter? Or the Death Star having a huge hole in it just the right size for the Falcon? The fact that the Ewoks braid Leias hair? The perfectly orchestrated rescue of Han from jabba, that just happened to go exactly as planned, despite all the variables that would have needed to be correct for it to have all worked. Or that they left Han there for so long before they rescued him? Shall I go on with more? :-)

For what they are, just light hearted entertainment, they are fine, but I will not understand this fanaticism that Star Wars has achieved from the fans when they are in may ways poor movies filled with old cliches, bad dialogues, plot hole, and ridiculous plot elements, such as how Vader was a miraculous conception. I mean really Lucas, he was Jesus now was he? Or how about when Luke and Liea are born, and their mother dies of a broken heart? Seriously! A broken heart? We will forget the part that makes her such a horrible mother, the fact she cares so little for her children and just gives up despite them needing her, but what about all the technology that could have helped? Except nope, there was nothing wrong with her, she was just sad.

Edit: Okay, I should clarify, I have never seen episode 1-3, these are just things I have heard people say about the films. And if you want one last piece of proof about the quality of Star Wars, then look here. :-)

Edit 2: That was all just mean as a little fun, just in case it comes off otherwise. :-)

Of course they are pure cheesy entertaining movies but what i meant was that the ewoks were the silliest things in the old trilogy...
And i'm definitely not a fanatic when it comes to any fictional universe i like :).

And Lucas rip...was inspired by a lot of other things: Like or the french comic [url=http://www.laloutremasquee.com/scifi/valerian-et-laureline/]Valerian and Laureline (in french but there a pictures illustrating that)

I know, but I was a bit worried people would think I was angry at Star Wars, and the last thing I would want is for some Star Wars nerds to get insulted at some jovial comment. Those guys can be crazy. :-)

That's my state o__o
Looking a bit further, I'm quite sure it is not true. It pops up on many websites and lists of silly laws, which are almost all fake. Nuclear tests are actually still allowed in my state (still? jeez!! :-/)...

However... it really is illegal to fish with a crossbow here :-) (don't worry, a regular bow is fine! :-D)
