ElTerprise: Thank you *returns hug*

Yeah certainly interesting movies to come - I'm particular interested in the Star Wars and Jurassic Park sequels the others not so much...
avatar
l0rdtr3k: If this Jurassic Park is like the third one,I'll freak the fuck out.
It seems is like Highlander, there should've been only one.
All JP movies are weaksauce. But they get proggressively worse.

Jurassic World... really Hollywood, really? I want to set the pants of whoever thought that on fire, so that I can snipe at his exposed scrotum.

l0rdtr3k: *sneaks behind ne_zavarj and stealth slimmy hug* Hello! How're you doing?

Pretty much.
Everything is fine .
avatar
j0ekerr: Good afternoon folks, how are you all doing today?

Interesting weekend sale. Sadly it has one major flaw. NO HOTLINE MIAMI!

I just heard on the news that Luis de Guindos, Spain's minister of economy could become the next president of the eurogroup, whatever that means. Which confirms something I've long suspected, the election of figureheads in the eurozone is basically a "who's the biggest bitch" contest.

That guy is the political equivalent of goatse.

ps: I AM buzzed right now, let's see how long it lasts.
Moin :). Doing good here....
Any suggestions from weekend sale? I only own Mark of the Ninja so far, will probably get The Ball, Dragon Commander and Vertical Drop Heroes ...

A new Eurogroup president? Well that sounds like "Good News" doesn't it......

adaliabooks: This is the bit that gets me. While I have no problem with modders being able to be paid for their work (although the whole web of using other mods etc. does make that complicated) but only getting 25% of the money? I know Steam are bound to take a cut, and probably the original developers / publishers too but surely the person who actually did the work should get at least 50%...
Yeah. It would have been better for the modders to have a donation-like model but that would have got Steam and the Publisher less money...i wonder why they didn't implement such a model ^^...

ElTerprise: Yeah. This idea of giving the modders a tip if you want would have been reasonable. And in addition Skyrim was the wrong game to start with as many of the mods are relying on other mods...

What i also find outrageous is that the modders only get a 25 percent share...
That's the main reason I stopped using it,really 75% for Valve? Yhis was just pure greed.

No dickheads bothering you? Because you were downrepped for thanking someone on the gifting thread if I'm not mistaken.

You fool, you honestly think people should be retributed for their hard work, modders are the scum of the internet along with the people who browse the unmentionable site (4chan). How dare they remove the bugs their developers worked so hard at, so that the game would break and crash at the worst possible moment and make you scream in rage, causing multiple orgasms to each and every member of Bethesda's board of directors? In fact they should pay Bethesda, for the privilege of being allowed to do mods for their GLORIOUS games.

l0rdtr3k: If the "tip jar" approach were taken, then I'd understand it but outright paying for them? That's a no-no in my book.

That is why i left. Only 25% for them when it should have been the other way around. I wouldn't object to that, i would actually consider it as a donate button, especially if modders kept a free version on the Nexus too. But no, they had to get their lion's share. Outrageous. I just created my account today. No contacts at all and still trying to get the hang of it but i am here to stay.
Tell me Valve, do you bleed?
YOU WILL!

First of all: Welcome to the forums. Don't hesitate to ask if you've any problems whatsoever with the site or the forums :).

I get that Valve and Publishers wan't a cut from the sales but 75 % is nowhere near an acceptable rate...
But i fear that the silent majority of the Steam users won't react against it...

All true. There is a great fear but there is also great hope. A lot of people have actually joined the anti pay community despite Valve's attempts of censorship and there is a petition in the works with at least 70 thousand signatures last time i checked. Don't know how all this will turn but i'm not gonna go down without a fight. Only time will tell. No matter what happens i will be here. I am done with Gayben and his little posse.

ElTerprise: Thank you. Glad you lik it. Odd is probably the best for it as i had no idea what's this game is about...:)
It is unlike anything I've ever played... A point and click action/adventure game, with a text parser, RPG elements... and a gun... and a very unique style.
Thank you, good sir :-)

I would have been happy to see a tip jar. There have been plenty of mods that I wished I could have given a dollar or five to the creators for... This is just insane, though :-/

There are quite a few which are supposed to be good, one or two even manage to step into awesome territory, but I haven't personally played any of them so I couldn't recommend them.

You go too fast, next is jurassic system, then jurassic cluster, then western spiral arm, then galaxy and finally universe.

Are you reading this Hollywood execs? Remember to send me my check.

DAMNIT! My buzz is beginning to disappear already.

First: I mixed some words up in my post. I meant hesitate instead of bother (which is the opposite) - sorry for that

I don't exactly know about the numbers but how much are 70.000 compared to all Steam users? Don't get me wrong i also want that to change but i'm a bit more pessimistic about it...

This issue is really represantative of the state the whole games industry is currently in....

I would see Jurassic Western Spiral Arm just because of the awesome name XD

Upon watching the first two movies again recently... I discovered that I absolutely can't stand the first one. I actually enjoyed the second one more.

Then i should get it myself at some point i guess - because that sounds really promising :).
