Otherwise out comes the laptop, which is probably a better option anyway.

I don't mind deep dish, but I do prefer thin crust. Yeah, Italian restaurants are like that here too, but we just tend to make our own :)
I had some of the nicest bread I've ever tasted when I was in Spain, but it was when we took the boat over to Tangier. Don't know if it was wood fired or not, but I think it had polenta / corn meal in it. I just remember eating about 3 baskets between my mother, brother and I.
I'm not a fan of sliced loaves at all, I don't have the time to bake bread as much as I'd like so we tend to buy from the local bakery or the bakers bread from the supermarket (which isn't great, but still better than most packaged sliced stuff)

I've had piri piri chicken, but only from Nandos... Not sure if you get them there? Yours sounds much better :)

Initial good news - Made it to character select with no problem. Fingers crossed that it stays that way.

And now, to figure out what kind of character to actually make.

Yeah. It took ages for me as well. Atleast on Windows. The linux version took it's time during the extraction of the tar.gz archive...

I still didn't play much of it but i really liked the character creation.

Okay...given that this is my first run, I'm going with what I know, and doing an adaptation of my Icewind Dale wizard.

My first choice was to make Deathsplooge the misguided and quite probably insane paladin, but I think I'll save that for my second run.

Let me know when you'd like a huge money tip (told to me by my dad, who has been playing the game since it came out.) ;D

Figure I'll do like I do in every other RPG - swipe everything that isn't nailed down, sell off what I can't use to make my crew stronger, get some levels, get access to better stuff, repeat until rich.

D:OS runs on this machine, a bit sluggish but playable, I'm impressed.
Should play great on the laptop and I can share my saves.
