CarrionCrow: Just be careful. Don't want you to get more injured. (Nagging over now, promise. =) )

With him, it's a persistent thing. He has to use it for work, but when he has downtime he still wants to go out and do things, even when he should be resting and healing up.
My constant reminders that they have a large, fairly strong relative at their disposal so they don't have to hurt themselves are only heeded about half the time.

Yes, it's not much fun. Makes things like crowds less than pleasant, let alone performing in front of them.
Sounds like she worried for no reason, ultimately. Her ability was more than sufficient.
I can relate to how your relative is, that kind of how my family are. We are so used to hands on stuff that when we should rest due to medical reasons, we find it very hard.

My partner does not normally have problems with public stuff, but it seems the violin brings back some hidden overbearing parent memory for her from when she was younger learning the violin. Given how her mother is I can believe how hard her mother would have pushed for perfection. But all turned out well and it was lots of fun.

Stilton: How's Grimrock, when you're not throwing yourself into holes?

CarrionCrow: It's pretty good. Right now I'm stuck trying to get through a maze of slime monsters that chew my party to pieces like a starving dog with a bone, but I'll get through it eventually.
The atmosphere is quite nice. I don't have music playing over the top of it, since there isn't much music and you really want to be able to hear things like, say, giant spiders creeping up behind you or the sound of a door opening in the far distance after you find and hit a switch.
That sounds good, and like it has a decent atmosphere. It reminds me of playing Tomb Raider way back and after yanking a lever and hearing a distant stone grating, scouting around to see what had happened. The creeping up behind bit sounds good, too. Got to love a good atmosphere - it can make a gaming experience into something you never quite forget. I still have TR1 imprinted on my DNA. Wow, did I love that game.
