Laughing! I normally have an asbestos mouth, but I'll bear that in mind. I usually make my own sauces, from chiles I grow, but sometimes I invest in the odd non-homegrown one. I'll look that one up, see what it says. Hope you drank lots of milk (ugh) or sucked on a cube of sugar to help the burn. Hi to everyone who's around - I gave up in frustration yesterday - first I couldn't log in, although I tried twice. Then I clicked on 'Account' when I was supposedly not logged in, and found I could access my library, so I tried a post here - and it flashed into the GOG black hole.
Second try got me the bear. Trying to click on Games also got me the bear. Enough with the bear already - I went off to do other things.
Hope this goes through, and that you are all well, awake or asleep. :-D
Coffee - yum! My second mug....

Twitch warning
I haven't had a chance to look around to see if anyone has posted about the Twitch hack, most likely it's been posted in several places already. But in case you don't know about it, and you use Twitch, you need to change your password asap. And, as they point out, also change your password at other sites if you are using the same password at different sites. (You wouldn't do that, would you?)

If anything, I found that what I ate is pretty tame in the grand scheme of things.
But, on the bright side, I ended up bouncing around the internet until I found a company called Blair's that makes hot sauce that ranges from stuff I could give heartburn-prone relatives to, I kid you not, actual crystals of the compound that makes all hot sauces hot.
For reference, a bottle of Tabasco runs 5,000 Scoville units at most.
Those crystals clock in at 16 MILLION. Unless you're making a swimming pool's worth of chili or sauce, you could absolutely kill someone or yourself with those things.
It's really irritating that people who want to talk here are getting nailed by Atlas bear left and right, and especially so in your case since it sounds like you're having the worst problems of anyone who frequents the thread.
Really, really, really hoping it's not a year or two of everything being semi- to mostly broken due to tech people being focused on getting Galaxy up and running.
Aside from all that, how's your morning going?

Tabasco is what they offer to tourists here when they ask for hot sauce. You can get the chef's real hot one if they know you, made from the tiny chiles that pack a punch.
I know Blair's, although I haven't tasted the hottest of them, I think they are just made for crazies. I may have an asbestos mouth, but I know my limits.
I belong to a Chileheads list, and discovered this man there - Jim Campbell. If you like hot sauces made by good people, then try his stuff.

So far so good with the site - I'm not sure if I am being hit harder, or if I just complain more. ;-) My connection is always a little iffy anyway, especially when there's rain around - and it's raining right now (happy me), so I hope I stay online.
Good day so far, it's still dark, but I have coffee and rain and am sitting here typing, wrapped in a warm blanket - even here the mornings are chilly.
Going to try the Banished tutorial again, I got rather lost there because I had a lot of work to do. Will give it another go.
Hope your evening / night is going well, and your gaming also.
Delaying posting this so it doesn't end up tacked onto my previous post, it's long enough as it is.

I'm not surprised, Tabasco isn't hot in the slightest, it feels like it's actually a vinegar sauce. I know Blair's, although I haven't tasted the hottest of them, I think they are just made for crazies. I may have an asbestos mouth, but I know my limits.

I'd agree with you there. When you get to things I saw like Blair's Ultra Death, something with a serving size in droplets, it's not really a standard usage sauce anymore.
Anything you put it on in a standard usage amount, it's going to turn that food into a fireball. So what's the point.
Also, thank you for the links, I'll bookmark them and check them out. =)
I don't think it's a matter of you complaining more often, the site's been a lot more unstable lately, and that's coming off some bug or error GOG had which caused more than a few people to have no access to their game libraries.
If anything, I figure the overall crowd will get more and more tired of it as the errors drag on.
But despite it all, the rain's still nice. (Barring power outages...)
Figuring Banished has a bit of the brick wall learning curve to it. Maybe not as badly as some, but from what I saw on Twitch it definitely looks like it would take a while to grasp completely.
Speaking of problems with editing....-laughs-
Had to repost this one since it didn't want to go through the first time.
Oh, GOG. If really good people weren't here, and you didn't let me play my games without a net connection, I might start getting seriously frustrated with you...
As far as hackers go, that's just ridiculous when you have businesses that exist solely on the net for the most part.
You'd think security would be a major priority, and huge sites still get tagged.
And that isn't even getting into companies like Sony that not only get hacked, but get hacked viciously and repeatedly while they continue to screw up and not protect themselves.

Good Evening All:-)
Got a surprise today, logged into Steam as I haven't been there for a couple of weeks and low and behold
updates for Skyrim and CK...Went to look at reason and found some interesting news for going back into modding..
Modders will soon be able to make money on their mods..
This will cause a lot of trouble, with things like that's my idea you copied...Oops...
Apparantly Valve will get the biggest cut, the mod author will receive a 25% cut (Valve take 75%) of any revenue generated from the sale of the mod.
(The first two games announced to be making use of these Curated Workshops were Dungeon Defenders: Eternity and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare with the promise of more to come. Valve were also happy to announce at the same time that mod authors for TF2, DotA 2 and CS:GO had been paid over $57 million between them thus far, an impressive number, and with a bit of maths voodoo on a napkin based on the 25/75 revenue share deal you can work out that roughly $228m has been spent on mods for these three games alone over the past few years, of which Valve took a $171m cut (note: these are not official figures and I'm just simply going off estimations based on the figures provided by Valve of a 25% revenue share and $57m paid out to modders).
The above in ( ) is copied from Dark One at Nexus...
Interesting stuff, and of course Valve doing it so hard nowadays...

Can't complain too much here. Another quiet night aside from the music blasting away. -laughs-
Telling myself that I really don't need to install more games, but I'll probably do it anyway, if for no other reason than to have plenty of icons to make into little designs when I get bored...
Big surprise, the competition makes a shitload of money so they can shell out millions and still make out like bandits.
No need to worry about people fighting over ideas, Valve will make sure to lock everything down so they keep on getting paid and blow anyone who doesn't cooperate with how they want to handle things out of the water.
As if I needed another reminder of why to not rent from them. -laughs-

-laughs-
How's your evening going?

It's kinda depressing reading the manual for Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption.
With all the source material they had to work with, who the hell thought making a mediocre Diablo clone was a good thing?

Morning all!
+1s for Hyper please as he ninja'd my purchase of the Tales of Maj'Eyal DLC :)
Thanks Hyper!
Anyone who enjoys ToME, or just roguelikes in general, do your self a favour and go download ADOM. Not sure if it's similar to ToME or not but it's the best roguelike I've ever played, and one of my favourite games. Go for the older version (1.1 I think) as the one being worked on currently still has a ways to go.
As for hot sauce I'm not really great with really hot chilies, I like spice and a bit of heat but I'm not a fan of anything that requires you to drink a gallon of milk between bites...
