The Sexy Brutale, a surreal murder mystery taking place inside a bizarre mansion trapped in time, is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com!

There is a dark, secluded place. A place where everyone knows your face. Or mask, as the case may be.
It's "The Sexy Brutale" casino mansion and everybody here is up to no good. Only some more than others. See, the guests all got secrets to hide and stories they don't want to share, but also a grisly death awaiting them behind each corner. Your job is to look past this masquerade and find a way to save the poor bastards. Using stealth, misdirection, and some neat occult powers, you must discover all goings-on, map out the fateful moments, and prevent the guests from dying at the hands of the murderous staff. Don't worry if you don't get it right the first time - you've got all day. An endless loop of it, in fact.

The Sexy Brutale, an unusual puzzle/stealth affair dressed to intrigue and delight, is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Looks intriguing! :)
The concept is intriguing, but that title is terrible.
The Sexy Brutale Tutorial - Gamescom 2016
looks way cool
Looks absolutely delightful. I want moar games from this kind of perspective that isn't an action or jrpg. After after all these years there's still no spiritual sequel to the LBA games :(

+1

Looks really interesting, but that title makes it seem like some really terrible Japanese idea involving tentacles and junior-high school girls.

Somebody should let the devs know it's not too late. They can still change the name and avoid smashing their toes on the curb at game launch.
Yep, looks cool, though I would prefer more GOG and less pre-order/coming soon/in dev. But thanks anyway, the concept seems original.
The art style is gorgeous!
Before opening the thread and game page, and reading the blurb, I wasn't sure what sort of game to expect - the game title did not prepare me for this; colour me intrigued.

From the game page:

The Sexy Brutale” – a stately English mansion converted into a bizarre casino and named by the enigmatic Marquis
Not sure why or how the game title/name of the mansion (best) serves the concept, story and theme, so could somebody tell the Marquis that he's not being enigmatic, just of really terrible taste?

Hmm, this one may tempt me to break my self-imposed budget. It looks like something that would leapfrog right to the top of my 600+ game backlog!
Not a fan of the title, but the game itself looks pretty cool!
Interesting idea for a game.

A couple things with the game card text:
About: Never-ending masked ball turned murderous” adventure puzzle game “The Sexy Brutale” [...]
Not sure why there's one random quotation mark after "murderous"; it looks like the word's saluting or something.
[...] gaining occultseeming powers linked to their masks [...]
"Occultseeming" is not a word. Should be hyphenated. :)

I thought you were instead gonna finish with "They can still add those things to the game before launch." =D

With that title I would expect more something like this :D
Isn't this inspired/adapted from a boardgame, it rings a bell...
