Breja: I heard mixed things about the board game, and it seems to fall into that "cool big figures get people hyped on kickstarter" category that seems to have dominated board games in recent years, but there's enough about the premise I found interesting to regret the fact I'll probably never have a chance to play it. If this gives me a chance to have a fun single-player experience with it - I'm on board.

takezodunmer2005: Not a fan of gambling as I despise wasted effort, as it is an incredibly strong de-motivator for me, which is pretty much how I see perma-death gameplay in a nutshell; though the town-building has me intrigued, it would depend on the save system as well as I'm not a fan of single-slot saving...

Wishlisted for now, I am however, glad to see new titles here especially ones released near the same time as steam in spite of my like or dislike of the genre!

LASER97: I hope the main story campaign isn't just an afterthought.
I've been looking through info available about the game so far and I think the trailer and screenshots might not do the game justice. There's a lot more moodiness, dialogue options and quests to this game than they suggest. It's not just being pointed in a vague direction and fighting everything you meet along the way. The team behind it is clearly going for a certain tone with the game, especially with the visuals and sound design. Feels pretty Polish, in the tradition of The Witcher and Darkwood. It doesn't seem like you'll need to worry about the story campaign getting overlooked in favour of the roguelike mode.

I suspect the in development phase will be used to get feedback on the game mechanics and flesh them out as much as possible, as that will benefit both modes. There's not enough out to judge the game itself on, such how extensive the campaign is, how deep does the quest design goes, etc., but it does look promising. This might turn out to be quite good.

Looks neat but I am not a fan of card games. I'll try to remember to check in on it again after release.
Looks good. And when the campaign mode will have a proper save mechanism and no permadeath it would be interesting. Unfortunately it's Windows only. Is there any Linux support planned?
Looks interesting, if will be possible to play in a non-roguelike way.
Looks cool! Excited!

ChrisGamer300: Nice to see a turn based RPG coming but i hope the doesn't have real card mechanics in it and it's just flavor for the game because while it sounds petty, card mechanics and/or card games like Thea for example just ruins the game for me. I have a massive dislike for it.
It's a mechanic I really like and found it interesting when it started to creep into games (especially RPGs). That said it IS starting to become a "trend" and it feels like a lot of games are like "Hey, you know what would make this even BETTER - let's toss in a card mechanic!"

I *hope* that's not the case here.

darktjm: I have never liked any games based on Arthurian legend, and I hate the misuse of "roguelike" and generally dislike having to hope to be able to bypass the broken save system on games which advertise it, but I added this game to my wishlist anyway, mainly due to turn-based combat. Maybe it's not that bad.
Okay I'm going to bust your balls a bit here ;)

For some reason after reading this quote, I pictured you in bed after sex, smoking a cigarette with a legit 8.5 next to you saying "I guess it wasn't *THAT* bad. I mean, you could have shaved a landing strip instead of that silly triangle. And 36 Cs are nice and all, but too big for my taste - 34 would have been much better. So, dinner tomorrow? I suppose we can try again."

Ixamyakxim: For some reason ...
I don't know where you got that. I said that I predict this game will be god-awful, but I'm giving it a chance (i.e., I will re-evaluate when the game actually comes out) because of a trivial issue: it's turn-based. Sounds like the exact opposite of what you were thinking. Whatever.

Link to the KS page for the - now funded - campaign for the boardgame which also fed into this.

Very glad to see them brining the digital part of the this KS to GOG.
release date shifted to today
It seems that it's a very atmospheric game. Dark setting almost spills from the screen. Wishlisted for now and I'm waiting when it's finished. :)
