HuniePop 1 is literally unplayable because it has unbeatable (at least for average, non-eSports-players) timed "bedroom puzzles" in which you have less than 5 seconds successfully to perform a move before the ludicrously-short timer goes all the way down to zero and therefore you lose all your progress in those puzzles.
That's not even enough time simply to look at the screen to see where a potential move might exist, much less enough time actually to perform the move too.
This makes it impossible to progress past those parts of the game.
Dozens/hundreds of people pointed this out to the dev, starting 5 or 6 years ago. But despite all that massive feedback, the dev's response was that they don't see an issue...and they did absolutely nothing to patch it...in other words, they deliberately left the game permanently broken forever.
I have hundreds of games on GOG, not all of which I like, but HuniePop is perhaps the only one where I feel like I've been outright scammed as a result of having bought it.
Accordingly, I will not be buying HuniePop 2 since I don't want to support such unethical practices of devs releasing broken games and then refusing to patch them.
