stupid sexy Farlanders
I remember this clever game from the free version on itch some years (?) ago! Great to see it reappear!
So they have gif format animated image to show gameplayt but not bother making a video trailer?
The graphics sure looks very good! I like the colors too :)
Here's an actual trailer.
And here's the old web version of the game.

Looks like things have changed a bit since then because going by that trailer things are a bit more complicated now. I actually just tried the old game, and even as simple as that one is it can be tough to juggle the balance act between not outstripping my resources versus meeting that colonists/turn requirement. It sure is a neat little management game in puzzle form.

I'll be to sure to keep an eye out for this one. :)

Ok, I'm sorry in advance for even sharing this...

... but...

... am I the only one to look at this title and hear in my head "Fartland" instead of "Farland?"

Yeah, probably just me

There is a steam page of preview version of the game but it is not possible to download it anymore:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1460540/Farlanders_Prologue/

You can use link to browser version, provided by Mr.Mumbles:

I noticed not that long ago that these days those game page animations are mp4 clips. In Firefox you can right click on them to stop, or to play, or even make them full screen. They don't always autoplay for me but I wish they never did, they are so short that they are just annoying. However, the issue with trailers is that so many of them show little if any gameplay.

Thanks. Since the clips on the game page are from this trailer and it doesn't even have a "buy on steam" thing at the end I'm guessing the developer forgot to add it to the game page or GOG didn't review it before the announcement or something like that.
WOOF!
I wonder... Is the map we see in these screenshots the full extent of the map?

Looking at the graphics it rather must have been a few decades... :P

Too bad the game has no Linux version, otherwise it looks very promising.
