After almost responding to a necro post, I figured it's about time for Mr. Gog to do something about it. I suggest that the date on posts be color coded. The normal for posts less than a week, and then at a week they would be yellow, then at like a month orange and at like 6 months they'd be red.

So we can quickly figure out how old a post is and where the necro post is when deciding whether or not to respond to a post in an old thread.

Please vote here if you like that: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/color_code_posts_by_age
To be honest, necroposting isn't always a bad thing, especially on the game-specific forums. Sometimes an old post contains good information. Sometimes it contains misinformation that someone will find doing a Google search, and having a reply with the correct information would be helpful.
Why do all my posts have to be pink? Isn't that like saying my posts are 'pussy posts'?

What's wrong with pink? It's a very nice color, and is currently my favorite color, actually. (Try pairing it with blue or black.)

Missed reference there. :P
Honestly, are you expecting ANYTHING on this forum to get done, least of all something this low priority? We can't even get the "trolling made easy" rep system removed. I mean look at this shit, I have higher rep than tinyE. What in the actual fuck. "Search" is mostly crippled. Notifications sometimes work and sometimes don't. Threads are greyed out despite having new posts. And you think someone is going to bother to color posts?

This is something that would take literally 10 minutes and probably a dozen lines of code to do.

But yes, the likelihood of anything being done about anything is pretty much nil.

That's great, when did that happen?

EDIT: Or perhaps some generous person could add it to one of the GOG forum GM scripts.

Think your posts should have flashing colors like the spectrum loading screen :o)

No, what I think is you all need to go watch "Reservoir Dogs"! :P
I like the idea but instead of colour how about different shades of grey?

Funnily enough I did actually watch it a week or so ago, was on telly. Wouldn't the flashing background go with your avatar?
