Painted_Doll: I used to write complaint about Bethesda games like you, then I took an arrow in the knee .
Comment WAY overdue, Thanks!

Cyberevil: I'm a rare spawn now. (like the Ancient Cyclops... Props if you know where that comes from) Seems like too much drama for a while.

Grargar: Hmmm, I should lay a trap next time I see you here. If only I had some bait...

Oh, and on topic, my complaint with Bethesda is that they haven't rereleased the Terminators. Yeah, licensed games and all, but if Interplay can do it with Star Trek, so can Bethesda.
Traps can't contain Evil Strawberries! ...I think.

Cyberevil: Well, you notice I didn't say the Dark Brotherhood quests are good? Though i like Cicero a little.

Weird and Pervy? Are you sure you don't mean YOUR kind of crowd? :P

Crewdroog: Oh, yes, you are right. Apologies. :) *goes back to chicken fetish forum*
Oh you aren't the one I'm sexting from there are you? >.<

That's what everyone says before they are trapped.

Well I am dealing with an Evil Kitty, so I do know I have to be especially careful...

How have things been going around here Grargar?
Here are two things I can think of:

1. Bethesda games are buggy, to the point where the company is nicknamed "Bugthesda" and the second Elder Scrolls game (which is particularly bad in this respect) "Buggerfall". You can't trust that everything works as the description says (for example, in vanilla Morrowind, Blind effects will actually increase accuracy). If you are looking for a bug free experience, Bethesda games are not for you.

2. Bethesda games can't be assumed to be balanced. If you take full advantage of the systems the game has to offer, the game becomes easy, and if you don't, the game can be quite different. In extreme cases, you can get things like having thousands of temporary HP (Arena), regenerating all your HP every few seconds (Daggerfall), and going fast enough to clip through walls (Morrowind). (The Daggerfall example is a clear balance problem; the per level component of Regeneration should not have been so cheap to raise.) If you are looking for a well-tuned and well-balanced game, Bethesda games are not for you.

The gaming deals are still going on and so does the general drama. I wish it had more of the first and less of the second, though...
My biggest complain about Bethesda is that they try too hard to get wide audiences and they end up dumbing down their own games

monkeydelarge: The biggest problem with Skyrim is the game forces you to either join the Imperials(assholes) or the Stormcloaks(assholes).
No it doesn't.

I've played through the game multiple times and I tend to never take a side in the war. (i also will sometimes not do other lines like Dark Brotherhood) Almost nothing is actually required of you except (and then only technically) the main line.
Now some of the DLC (looking at you Dawnguard) pretty much forces you to choose a side, but again, one could consider the whole DLC another quest line.

LoL at the 2 month necro... I blame Grargar.

Of course, due to the way the forum works and the fact that the first post is "low rated", the topic looks identical to topics already read. (I actually find this annoying when it happens to a topic I am actually interested in, since there seems to be no way to override it.)
Level scaling, I hate level scaling

So, Low rating is why the I can't always tell when someone posts in a thread? Did not know that thanks

On-topic: Not enough are here, Steam's not an option for me but Skywind looks awesome.
