HOLY FREAKING COW! The Holy Grail of vaporware (can I say like that?), a game that hasn't been released for 25 years since its development. Many of you have played it anyway, included myself. Now it's here in its full glory. Hail GOG!
I hadn't heard of this game before and, according to Wikipedia, this was scheduled for release in 1997 but that never happened, it's an old game that wasn't released at the time. It's a new old game, I guess.

Is it similar to Super Sprint?
This was literally in the arcades.
Cool. Reminds me a lot of that single screen off-road track racing and Indy car racing games I played a lot on our Amiga. I forget their names.

Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road? I preferred Super Cars II myself, would love to see the Amiga version released here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nwLQaiOxgY - this person seems to be using the "smearing" :P effect in DOSBox, like Wasteland 1 here uses in some screenshots.

I was reminded of eGames Mini Car Racing

Maybe you think of Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road
Amiga's Skidmarks
or newer Speed Demons?

Cows and caravans...
Screenshots look an awful lot like Super Off Road for the NES. I really liked that game.
For those who haven't played it - the game is quite challenging, completing the championship requires quite a lot of skill, as you basically have to finish on the podium in each race. I've just launched it and it works well with music - the lack of music was the only lacking feature in the DOS versions roaming around in the late 90s-early 00s on burned CDs. It's interesting how such game could have been not released back then, as it was as finished and complete as it is now :)

Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat
!NOT as good as Death Rally (1996)!, but also a good race game.
