DAMMIT!

It keeps saying for me to claim the copy, and when I do, it doesn't work, as in it doesn't get added to my library!

Great! The ONE time I don't already own a giveaway game, it ends up not working!
EDIT: Never mind, all is well, just a bit of GoG jank!

I'm having the issue as well, but I have had it with every giveaway during the sale. It eventually worked during the prior giveaways. I think that they've just been very popular and that the site is a bit overloaded at the moment.


edit -- Galaxy shows that I claimed it 21 minutes ago, and Flashback is in my library even though the home page still is showing to claim it. Hopefully it's in your library too!

Thanks for another great giveaway!

I do have questions about the game though. Is it anything like Another World? These two always looked similar to me and I hated Another World (because of the extremely clunky controls and 'cause it really shows its age I ended up to ragequit it in frustration, despite how much I wanted to like it), and thus I always avoided Flashback. I also thought that these two came from the same creator but, apparently, I was mistaken. So, any connection between those two games or Flashback is an entirely different thing?

One of my favorite childhood games. Already own it on Steam but it's nice to have a DRM free copy. Thanks GOG!

They look similar but they're different games. Another World is more like a memorizer, you fail over and over again until you figure out that section and move on to the next. Flashback is more an action/platformer like Prince of Persia or Blackthorne. Also it has very precise controls. I like both but I consider Flashback the better game.

Thank you for the giveaway GOG and Paul Cuisset / Microids.

I don't think I played or even heard of this game back then, so I don't know how I misssed this gem.. Anyway, it's a good chance to get to know it now and that's all that matters.

A true classic. I have had this one in my library for a few years. Very enjoyable. Anyway, thanks a lot, GOG!
I would really love to see the original Pac-Man inside the GOG catalog. If possible, please.

Wouldn't mind if FtB could finally get its long overdue re-release though, maybe alongside Flashback 2?

Played this and Another World on the SNES way back in the day. While I finished Another World I did not finish Flashback. Still, I did get far (either the last or next-to-last level).

Even so, I will pick up this copy and attempt to play the PC version of it.

"Thanks you!" to both Gog and all those who control the rights for Flashback for giving this one away!
