It's not just offline backups it seems. Some games aren't patching in Galaxy, straight up server error.

I can confirm this is happening with the initial installer exe for Panzer Dragoon Remake. Getting a "404 Not Found" error.

I thought this problems was only for few new games but it's huge.

Just made ticket for these:

Alice Escaped! Soundtrack : download fails
Succubus - Hellish Orgy VR : download fails
My Cat Girl Lover : download fails
Starshifter : download fails
Stillborn Slayer : download fails

Download for this works (at least 0,5h ago). Installs and runs ok.

Attempting to download Vagrus - The Riven Realms fails with an 404 - Not Found error. Both installer files are inaccessible.

Hey everyone. i wanted to give you an update that, due to our storage and CDN provider's outage, we are encountering technical issues that may cause difficulties in downloading and updating your games both through the GOG GALAXY client and GOG Store. Downloaded files are in no way affected.

Fixing this issue is our top priority – our Team is doing all they can to mitigate this external problem by switching to our secondary storage while our provider is restoring data. We will update you as soon as this is resolved. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.

While an update in the forums is welcome, this type and duration of outage deserves at least a notice at the top of the checkout page, and probably a notice on the homepage too.

Will GOG be covering the cost of refunds, or will it pass those costs on to developers?

Thanks, I just purchased The Witcher 3 and also got 404 Error via the client. Part 2 of the offline packages also 404 Error.

I presume the refunds will be passed to publishers/developers, but does it really matter? You have the option for 30 day refunds if this download outage is enough for you to want to get rid of your purchases.

That is definitely the case otherwise there would not have been such an backlash from some of the devs when GOG introduced its new refund policy.
