Can anyone recommend any good games (or for that matter mods for other games) in the Cyberpunk genere?

The one game I can remember playing that I consider fits into this genere is Tron 2.0 (awesome game if a little hard in places). Operation Anchorage in Fallout 3 was great but not something I consider as Cyberpunk (although if there are elements in the Fallout universe that DO qualify as Cyberpunk,do point them out to me)

Anyone know of anything worth playing in the genere? Things involving computers, communications, technology, cyberspace and such would be good. (I am a HUGE William Gibson fan and own all of his books except his most recent one which I have yet to track down)

Wikipedia has a list of things considered "cyberpunk" but given that the list includes such things as the Super Mario Bros movie (which is definatly NOT cyberpunk) I dont trust that list as a reference source.

I did see something suggesting the System Shock games are Cyberpunk but I dont know enough about them to know what it is that qualifies them as such (information on whether they would be worth playing for a fan of the genere would be appreciated)
Would Omikron count?
Maybe the new Shadowrun RPGs? The first one isn't that great, but Dragonfall and HK are really good games imo.
Hello! I friend of mine once told me of this game :ARCANUM: OF STEAMWORKS AND MAGICK OBSCURA

(Sorry for caps it was copied from the storepage) It's supposed to be really good but I havent had the chance to play it yet.
All the Deus Ex games, pure cyberpunk.
In System Shock you play a hacker fighting an insane evil AI in a space station and its underlying virtual world. You don't get much more cyberpunkish than that.

The Shadowrun RPGs here on gog are great examples of Cyberpunk as well, even if they draw a bit from fantasy.
Have not played yet, but I think DEX has a cyberpunk vibe too, no?

That would make it steampunk :)

Silly me! I misread. hope youll find your game then :D
System Shock 1 is most definitely cyberpunk. In it, you're playing a hacker who gets fitted with a neural implant, wakes up several weeks later only to discover that the space station he's on is now controlled by the insane AI he helped to unleash. There are tons of cybernetic modules and upgrades (and you can play Pong in the UI), a large part of the game revolves around entering the full-3D cyberspace sections and one mission has you doing honest-to-god computer maintenance.
It's really damn great, even if some people may complain that it's "too dated" or "clunky" or some shit.

I think Uplink: Hacker Elite may also qualify, albeit as a pretty mild example. It's essentially an adaptation of futuristic "hacking" as seen in movies such as Hackers.

I am also very fond of the weird adventure game DreamWeb, but while it does take place in a cyberpunk universe, all the computer stuff isn't really essential to the story, which is kind of like Blade Runner, if Deckard was a deranged serial killer.

Oh, and check out Beneath a Steel Sky. Also fits the mold, even though it probably takes more cues from classic dystopian fiction.

EDIT: There was also an official game based on Gibson's Neuromancer back in the late 80s.

There is a RPG called Restricted Area, which is pure Cyberpunk.
Personally recommend no, but Steam has a lot of games tagged with 'cyberpunk'.
Snatcher!

Seconded. Snatcher is a better Blade Runner game than Blade Runner the game. :P
