It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Paid for Hard West 2 an hour after it was released.

Went into my account > Manual Download > clicked on the first file link > "404 not found"

Clicked on Contact Us > sent me to a bot-style chat???

At least it worked to request a refund.

Since you can't take the time to help me with a download issue or better yet just make sure the system works, I have no concerns throwing money at Steam from this day forward.

EDIT

Just to be clear, I tried the same download process in the latest version of Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.

You've gone from DRM-free to free DRM.

Amusingly, not everyone reacts like you.

Mind blown, hm ?

This affects everyone so it's bound to get fixed.

As for the support chatbot, it should walk you through creating a support ticket, if you repeatedly say the suggestions weren't helpful.

Alternatively, you can bypass the chatbot with a user style.

Supposedly sending an e-mail to support (at) gog (dot) com also works.
You've been here 6 years? To impatient to wait? I get the feeling your presence or lack thereof won't be missed,

Seen it few times already, I think GOG changed CDN supplier some time ago and that new one is crappy - speeds are ok, but from time to time you just cannot get your game. Annoying, but don't make that much drama, just try later. You let the GOG know, good, maybe they'll do something about it if enough people report it.
k thx bye
What wil you do when steam and epic games store will bug too if you quit for a little bug

Just FYI, the offline installers for Hard West 2 are being fixed as I type this. Should be good to go momentarily.
Wow, someone managed to get him downvoted.

Impressive.

That's always the funniest thing about these posts.

Also I highly recommend playing new releases through Galaxy because of all the patches. You can still download an offline installer backup now or in the future (even through Galaxy!).

7 years actually. August 2015 to August 2022.
Going by his account, he spent a lot of time on Steam anyway, so...nothing will change for either him or GOG.
