Tony650: I can describe it.

The "Pay for your order now" button is kind of semi-transparent and the little hand doesn't appear when you hover the cursor over it. Actually, I just now noticed that there's a message directly below the button: It says "You can't buy some of the products. Please review your order."

The bizarre thing is that I had KotOR and KotOR 2 both in the cart together and when I clicked to pay, KotOR went through but KotOR 2 didn't, which begs the question... Why allow you to put multiple games in your cart if you can only purchase them one at a time?

That seems ridiculous.

paladin181: ...Do you already own KOTOR II?
No, I don't. I've never actually played it; only the first game. I tried to purchase both games at the same time. The first went through (in fact, I've been playing it), the sequel didn't.

This very same message shows up when you try to add DLC for a game you don't own. For instance, look at the image below to see what happens when I try to buy the DLC to Cuphead, which I don't own:

Are you sure you are just trying to buy KotOR II and haven't accidentally added something else? Does this happen if you try to add other games?

Yes, that's the message I was getting, and the semi-transparent button.

Regarding whether I was trying to buy KotOR 2 and adding something, all I can tell you is that I put *both* games in my cart together and tried to buy them at the same time. The first game went through, the sequel didn't.

OK, let's see if I got things right.

You tried to buy KotOR 1 and 2 together, but GOG wouldn't let you press the purchase button.
You then removed KotOR 2 from your cart and were able to buy KotOR 1 on its own successfully.
Then, you tried to buy KotOR 2 on its own, but GOG will still not let you.

Is that correct?

If it is, are you still able to buy other games? Or is your purchase button still semi-transparent?

Kind of the other way around, if that makes sense.

I tried to buy both together and the original KotOR (but not the sequel) purchased successfully.

The first one successfully purchased (I've been playing it, in fact).

But the sequel never purchased (and wouldn't allow me to click the button).

Question: Do I have to remove any purchased games from my cart before I can buy anything else?

Thanks for your help, by the way. It is appreciated.

Melvinica: Yes.
Yes, I have to remove any purchased games from my cart before purchasing others?

So, is it possible to buy more than one game at a time or do I have to do each individually?

Please forgive my ignorance: I've been a GOG member for some years but this is the first time I've actually bought anything from them.
You can buy multiple games in one go as long as you don't own anything in the cart.

So, once I've bought a game (or multiple games), I have to remove it (them) from the cart before I can buy any others? Am I understanding this correctly? My apologies - this is all fairly new territory for me. I'm pretty old-school when it comes to this (games on disc, etc).

Normally they shouldn't be in the cart any longer once you've successfully bought them. But if they still are for some strange reason, you should remove them first. Or buy them as a gift code, if you indeed want a second purchase.

No, I was only purchasing for myself. I just found it odd that I put two games in the cart (KotOR and KotOR 2) and only one of them (the first one) purchased, despite my attempt to buy both together.

But yes, KotOR was indeed still in the cart after I'd purchased it. I was able to install it and play it and all... yet for some reason, it was still in the cart.

You added both games to the cart, entered your payment details, pressed the "purchase" button and when you got to your library, you only had the first game in your account? Am I getting it right?

Because If I am right, then you must have bought both games, but only one showed up in your account.

I think you're getting it right, yes. But if I purchased KotOR 2 then where is it? Both KotOR and KotOR 2 are showing in my cart but KotOR is marked as "Owned" and the thumbnail is semi-transparent, whereas KotOR 2 is neither. Is it possible that removing KotOR from my cart will fix the problem?
You can put multiple games in your cart and purchase all with one click.
I did that about an hour ago for 8 games at once.
Once your purchase goes through, the cart is cleared.

You cannot put a game in your cart if you already own it, unless you use the GIFT option.
If you put a DLC in your cart that belongs to a game you don't own, then in the huge majority of cases, that will cause the PAY button to be grayed out, and you should also get a warning displayed.

Browse to either game page, to see if you own each game. The GIFT button should be prominent for each game you own.

I advise using your browser to check your library when having an issue, rather than Galaxy.

If you visit the page below:
https://www.gog.com/en/account/settings/orders
does it only show the first KotOR? If it does, does the price mentioned match the price your payment method was charged?
