I would like to re-iterate:

1. This thread is not violating the forum code of conduct.

2. It is purely about GOG, based on objective complaints by users. It is not about promoting or linking to other game stores.

3. The boycott list has been signed by over 100 GOG users.

Just a heads up, early in the thread it was discovered that people were using alt accounts to pad the numbers so single users could be getting counted multiple times, so over 100 may or may not be accurate.

Just pointing that out.

Yeah, enough accounts that just started existing the time they were asking to go for the list with 0 games on them.

You happily add new people to the list, you sometimes remove people from the list who ask you to do so.

And no thanks for posting off-topic on two threads (this and the spambot one) with a special award for ignoring the first post ("If you see anyone breaking the rules by spamming, advertising, posting shady links to weird websites - report them here!").

You may wish to (politely) disagree with someone else's viewpoint, but that doesn't make it spam. And such theatrics waste moderator time better spent on dealing with actual spam.
If you can provide actual evidence, please do so. Otherwise this is an empty statement which adds little to this thread.

To those campaigning to get this thread shut down - it won't stop the boycott. If anything - it will strengthen the arguments regarding censorship and quite possibly result in a higher profile for this campaign if other sites pick up on this. Try showing some maturity in accepting other viewpoints, or taking some time away from this forum and - well - playing some of those games you presumably purchased from GOG to show your support.

I mean, if I would be picky I would say he would have to ask everybody who is on that list if they want to stay on that list after T4T changed the reasons to boycott later on and if he can't reach them he would have to remove them from the list because that might not the reason they singed on here.

But hey, I would be happy enough if he would at last start acknowledging, that there is a very high chance to have a good number of sock puppets on his list.

Highlighting a specific example, as you did above, is fine - then it can be removed. Making a blanket statement about a 100+ long list and expecting others to wade through and do the detective work doesn't serve a useful purpose.

Also bear in mind those who choose to boycott without going on the list - probably not a huge number but potentially enough to cancel out sockpuppets.
