I just... don't see the point...

After version 1.09 they have progressively gotten less interesting, or more specifically they aren't compatible with Zy-El and other great mods.

To note recently I got D2 to work just fine on my computer using an old no-cd crack after installing everything. Works great...

Old Starcraft has TERRIBLE AI Pathfinding. I can't move units for shit in that 1st game. And controlling 12 units at once is just increadibly restricting.

Besides you can just get the Remake mod of Starcraft 1 just using the Starter Edition of the 2nd game alone.

Hey, I’m not pretending the original StarCraft doesn’t have its own flaws ;)
But unlike the ones of SC2, these of the original I can live with (I like micromanagement anyway).

I don’t know a lot about this Starter Edition, can I install and run it on a totally offline system (so without the Battle.net client)?

this series died for me about 15 years ago, never looked back.
and about 5 years ago I discovered Path of Exile, a much better and superior game. Will never look back at blisard and their atrocious overpriced drmed games

Accursed thing IS immortal! Hell, i even see people online in Diablo 1 itself! Look at the bright side, though, better for 2 Lod to be immortal, rather than 3.

Well, it's lovely and all, except when you think about Diablo III and the "online-only" mess they created that will likely not work 15 years from now.

Why someone would think about a thing or a concept, that DOESN'T exist? Old school diablo fans never heard of Diablo 3. Diablo 3 from Blizzard North got cancelled, before the group disbanded and Blizzard created all this mess, that diablo wannabe title you seem to be referring to!

I spent an obscene amount of money for purchasing Diablo III's collectors edition. Twice (the expansion too). Now I feel ashamed of talking about Diablo again...
