There is no need to rattle your bones to join our spine-chilling Halloween contest and celebrate this spooky season. This time, you can win 1 of 15 horror game bundles by simply recommending a horror game in the comments!

The bundle includes the following games: Blair Witch, Observer: System Redux, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, CARRION, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, SOMA, Outlast, Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut and WORLD OF HORROR.

The contest ends on November 3rd, 2 PM UTC.
It'll be Silent Hill.
The whole ambiance gave me the chill, and after I had to kill the cop, I didn't have the abilities to finish the game. Too stressful. I remember that the music was too much to cope with in this environment. A good experience, but way too intense to finish the game.
Dead Space was a good survival horror game, waiting to see what the remake will be like.
Just go back and play the original Dead Space, my dudes. Unlike the sequel, it has atmosphere and tension.
Call of Cthulhu: Shadow of the Comet

A classic adventure game based on H. P. Lovecraft's works. A must play for any Lovecraft fan. Since we're talking bundles, this game goes well with the kind-of-a-sequel Call of Cthulhu: Prisoner of Ice.
My vote goes to Dead Space
I recommend trying SOMA. Very atmospheric game!
I recommend Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut, a fantastic game, with an atmosphere and brutal characters, do not let yourself be guided by the graphics, it is a game that you cannot stop playing.
SOMA is rather nice.
layers of fear is a great game which immerses you in horrifying psychological horror. The game's pace is slow but it helps establish what is going on and you are always on alert for anything suspicious such as a painting melting . I can't recommend it enough
Outlast or Amnesia The Dark Descent for tension and atmosphere but if you want an horror FPS Clive Barker's Undying is an awesome game.

Not on GOG (but it should be! there's a wishlist for it, btw) but Subnautica at certain points can give you also those horror feelings (deeply underwater, limited oxygen, dangerous predators and dark places fit here perfectly imho!)
I recommend Sanitarium. Older adventure game with a great psychological horror storyline and memorable characters,
first that comes to mind is The Cat Lady

under that ragged looks you'll find one of the best psychological horror games I've ever experienced

it's a standalone sequel to Downfall (you don't need to play it to enjoy The Cat Lady, you'll just meet some characters from Downfall in it... but feel free to play all the games from Harvester Games, they're all worth it!)

Just play the Cradle level from Thief:Deadly Shadows - how to do scarey properly!
I recommend Visage. What an eldritch experience.
Dead Space. Jumping-scary.
