There is no Anniversary Party without a contest and a challenge! Imagine a double vinyl album with the music of Heroes of Might Magic III, released as a double 12-inch vinyl disc (180-gram LP) packed in a gatefold jacket with antistatic sleeves. Each side of the cover presents stunning artwork by Magdalena Katanska, printed in high quality with several embellished elements. Picturesque enough to join our contest?

We've teamed up with Gamemusic for this challenge! All you have to do is to recommend a coop game to play during our Anniversary Party.

The best answer will win a limited HoMM III original soundtrack vinyl, the Heroes Pack with 5 HoMM games, and the Game Changers Pack including Prey, No Man's Sky, Disco Elysium and Beautiful Desolation.

Submit your entries before October 8th, 3 PM UTC. Terms and conditions apply. You can check them in the first comment on the forum.

I've spent hours playing that game with friends. It is one of the closest experiences I've felt to that classic dungeons and dragons dungeon delving but on computer instead of pen and paper.

Grab a party and explore, fight your way down past beasts and traps, become stronger with new gear and more followers picked up along the way, and then regret putting on that necklace without looking at it because it was a necklace of strangulation and now your pals need to decide what pieces of your loot is most essential for you, that they can actually fit in their inventories, so they can give it back once you've respawned on the next floor... assuming your friends make it to the next floor.

It is a great co-op experience.

1. Rayman Origins (2012)
2. ibb & obb (2014)
3. Shipwreckers (1997, Overboard!)

Happy anniversary!
It feels weird to suggest a non-GOG game, but the Earth Defense Force games are some of my favorite co-op experiences. EDF 5 is the most complete package, but 4.1/2025 starts off much faster.
While they initially appear to be simple shootbang games, the ramping intensity and scale, paired with hundreds of weapons and four unique classes, leads to deranged schemes and ragdoll goofs.

For games available here, I'll echo Outward and Divinity: OS.
Double Dragon Trilogy! Love kicking it (and punching it) co-op old school.
Trine 1,2, or 4.

For me it would have to be Diablo, had such wonderful memories playing that one with mates.
Look how cool, listening to HoMM3 playing HoMM3; I could re-turn many nights like that.

Might as well liven things up with Fling to the Finish! You're bound to laugh yer buns off with this one.
HoMM 5: I think this is really immersive and story rich journey, which you can enjoy during this cold and misty October
My best friend and I love to play classic point and click adventures together via Skype. I haven't seen her in a very long time, but that always brings us closer together.
Marriage or at least a serious relationship (meaning living together).
It's a challenging co-op, a lot of grinding for resources, jugling with time management, ups and downs, BUT with the right partner it can be a game of a life time.
Since HOMM is a too obvious choice: why not try Age of Wonder shadow magic or Age of Wonders 3?
Wonderful turn-based roleplaying, empire building and 4X gameplay with a huge variety of units and spells/abilities.
Lots of opportunity to band together against pretty decent AI players or back-stab each other in the process.;)
