FFS...i'd really want to see a follow-up. The original anime covered about 3-4 volumes of the manga, while the manga has over 40 (if not 50 volumes)

No, they finally got off it (this December), but the manga is on hiatus again (until Summer I think).
Yeah, I hope they realize how important a better animation studio is for them. Those cheap cgi effects in the trailer will ruin it for many people. :/

Sometimes I wish Miura wasn't so incredibly autistic about making every single page as perfect and detailed as possible, he will probably die before finishing the series.

Who the hell cares about a new anime, I want to see the end of this damn story before biting my own dust :-P

Berserk always reminded me of the wheel of time: 5 years waiting for the new book only to have the writer die before the last one.

Hopefully it ends the same way: choosing a different author to finish the work based on the guidelines of the deceased and make a fucking epic finale.

We´ll get another two chapters this year then follows a long break of two years, we´ll get two chapters a long break and so on. xD.

I dunno, I'd rather it ends unfinished or whoever picks it up clearly pushes it as his own spin-off. I don't think there's anyone who is willing to put so much effort into every single page on a work that isn't his own.

I just want to see it end well, and I don't care much who does it.Hopefully it's the original author, but if it's not possible, then anyone else would do as long as it's as good a job as the wheel of time's ending was.

The author probably has a rough script of how it all should go, if someone has to pick it up he will have those guidelines.
If this is not the case...well, shit. :/
