FrodoBaggins: GOG achievements is just extra fluff.
It shouldn't affect adding the actual game to GOG.
StingingVelvet: It's usually the offline backup installers and standalone patches that developers complain about. Games today are built with Steam style live service delivery in mind. I know armchair developers here think it's a big nothing, but enough actual game makers have said otherwise. It shouldn't affect adding the actual game to GOG.
Combine frequent early patches with a desire to avoid day one piracy and you've got a recipe for delayed releases even from companies that generally support GOG.
As for loss off day 1 sales, well, they lost mine. I have no hurry to buy it, ever. But that’s a minority they can safely ignore, so doesn’t matter. Don’t know why they don’t just release ceg games here, obviously no reason not to anymore...
