So t had three games in my checkout que, bought them through papypal and then the page 404'd me I figure fair enough retry, exactly the same thing happens again then I get two emails from my paypal with order Id's. So I check my GOG account and the games are not there refresh and nope, nada. Double check my paypal and bank, paypal got charged and took the money from my bank account. Refresh GOG again and still no games check the store and there are the games I bought, sat in my cart asking them to buy them. For a third time. Tried to contact support but that bot is a special kind of stupid. so where do I go from here?

Its not a huge amount of money I'm out , £24.14 but i must say this is eroding my confidence in GOG as a online retailer.

Literally going through the same thing only i have been charged 4 times im out 105 quid. and all I keep finding is horror stories about how GOG wont respond to a ticket for months.

on your orders page, refund the duplicate order(s). Then submit a ticket.

cant do that as the orders havent been generated due to the 404
they are listed as not paid yet but my bank account disagrees.
*Edit* sorry thought this was the topic I made dont know if original poster has same issue.

just done a further test since apparantly im going to be waiting for a few months for a refund.
im wondering if its down to the items selected. as I removed 2 of my selections from basket and it went through.
something fucky is going on here.
*Edit*
Went ahead and put the other 2 games in my basket through individually.
no problem.
Definitely not worth 120 quid but I have my games now.
So all I need at this point is GOG to push back the other failed orders.

The bot did actually get me to put a support ticket in however the unhelpful response of we are sorry but we will take months to get back to you got alarm bells ringing.

I dont need to insult Limp Bizkit they are managing that just fine on their own.

Same thing happened to me, tried it three times with one game, thought maybe it's the new game (space trader), re-tried with another, same issue.

I just paid 1.99 for 'Unreal 2', got charged, didn't get the game.

Great, that support bot is useless...
If it's an endemic issue I think GOG will automatically reverse the charges at some point. That doesn't changes the fact that we can't buy games =))
