DaCostaBR: I hope I didn't sound condescending, I'm sure you've dealt with much more of this in real life than I have from behind a computer screen.

I understand how tempting it can be to jump in and correct misinformation, I'm tempted too. Also, how often these types of conversations are more of a performance, not to budge someone from their positions, but so a third-party seeing it won't just come across unchallenged misinformation and take it for the truth.

It's just that it's easy to get caught up on it, and I know that I sometimes benefit from someone tapping me on the shoulder and telling me I can let go, that someone else will do it for me.

If you're doing it from a healthy frame of mind and not letting it upset you though, I can only say go for it. :-)

Actually, that term has quite definite meaning - a person, who promotes "social justice" and "progressive" views.

You know, views like that a human with breasts, vagina and uterus is a man if he says so. Or that only white people are racist because they have privelege and they are racist because they constantly use theyr white privilege to opress black people.

So, the usage of that term was totally appropriate.

I call this all a BS. For all I know, you just had a boy who had a fantazy to be a girl. And as you approved that fantasy, it eventually became harder and harder for your child to abandon that dream. And so eventually you spoild child simply couldn't bare the reality that most people (and by most I mean all reasonable) discern men and women by physiology.

That is if you really have a child. Because OP of this thread has already been accused of being not a black person, but a white troll in disquise. So if you really have a child with gender dysphoria and wanted to complain about other people offending "they" by calling your child with male gender pronounce, than you should've known better.

There is no "rise" of autism. There is just more push against wrongthinking. So all people, whos way of thinking does not conform to what you-know-who ideology dictates, are automatically put "on the spectrum".
