Just One. (I have ONE game on my wishlist and ONE game hidden). It's almost like, why bother OFG? lol

Only the ones that I didn't ask for and am not the least bit interested in:

The Witcher 3 REDkit
Teenagent
Tyrian 2000
Dragonsphere
Ultima IV
Treasure Adventure Game
I only hide games I got for free that I don't want from the front page giveaways. You never know, but in the meantime I hide them.
Only games that GOG had on giveaway on the front page that I ended up not liking and all goodies.
No. I tag everything, so if I absolutely have to filter stuff out, I'd just leave out the stuff I don't want seen, like "Not-A-Game" stuff, "Bundled", "Free", "Freebies".
I do hide some owned games. The reason is that the library on the website just doesn't have several useful features I'd like. For example:

- Number of items per page
- Quick jump to a letter
- Arbitrary sorting, like with drag and drop
- Use multiple tags together with the results only showing items that match all of them, instead of any one of them

So, I use the hidden games as a subset to make my library feel a bit more manageable. It's not that I don't want those games

brouer: I hide to exclude them from being backed up by gogrepo.
I started around when my total library grew to 500-600 games and I thought it was ridiculous to store stuff I didn't care about keeping safe. Same reason I don't download Mac versions.
Fair enough I guess, by the sound of the level of automation you use.

I'd probably just use tags, and skip based on that, but then I'm not doing that kind of automation with gogcli.exe.

I automate a lot, but mix in some manual aspects, to have closer control. In fact I've done some huge changes to how Updates are dealt with, by my GUI. Me, the perennial record keeper of lists. LOL

It is much easier for me now to deal with game updates, easier to keep on top of them, whereas before they had grown to a huge number (some hundreds), before I got around to addressing them.

To be fair to me, GOG are mostly to blame due to lousy download speeds. I've now dealt with that to a reasonable degree, and so have been able to deal with all my pending game updates ... though somewhat annoyingly, some games seem to get constant updates, especially some demos ... not sure why they go to all that trouble, for something that is purely an example or should just be.

GOG used to have manual library sorting, then it went away with a redesign. It's still occasionally brought up, and there's also a wishlist entry.
AND operator instead of always assuming OR for tags would also be great, yep.
No, none at all.
I hide the Goodie packs, partly just to make them easier to locate when I'm after a unique desktop background or forum avatar. I also hide the occasional freebie I regretted claiming (a lot picker these days as I like my GOG library to feel curated) and a handful of demos, permanently associated with my account.

I loved the original box-art design, with manual sorting that made you really feel like you had a virtual game collection displayed on a shelf. I organised my games both by genre, their relationship to one another and a sort of running timeline of my growing interest in gaming—silly, but I loved it. It felt like 'Good Old Games' got what was great about a collection of cool old titles you had a connection to and were proud of having played.

I understand the layout was a little kitsch and many new games don't have that design for their splash images, but I feel like some middle ground could've been found rather than throwing the baby out with the bathwater. A tiny bit of creative graphic design would've fit the vast majority of game logos and title images into the old portrait format; or they could've just had some games present as wide 'big' boxes (which existed back in the day too). A small but important feeling of customizability disappeared that day and I lost interest in using the site outside the storefront for a good long time.

I hide all my owned games from my wife. If she knew I've blown over 16000€ on GOG games over the years, she would murder me, and then divorce me. Not the other way around.

Heck, you could buy a house for that kind of money! In Cambodia or Guatemala.
Games hidden: 0 I don't even understand this option. I could hide it from wife but from myself?

For e.g. gogrepoc users it is an useful option because hidden games don't get downloaded.

For me such games I'd like actually remove altogether from my library are some demos I've added there. For instance, why do I still have the System Shock demo in my library, when I have the full game too?

For this reason, I tend not to add any more demos to my library in GOG anymore, since I can't permanently get rid of them, and have to remember to hide them later from gogrepo.

Right. I (saying quietly and blushing) 🤭 just don't update once downloaded o'installers.
But I cheer up and support you!
