It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

RedWolf9000: With enough input we could probably roll it back to the old design or, maybe get options to change how the the store looks. For example toggle on or off the curated collections. GOG seems to be a reasonable and good company and will probaly listen to us and help us out.
You haven't been around here long, eh? (Listed join date notwithstanding.)

RedWolf9000: PS: I would also like to suggest a simpler way to search for games via a search bar so we do not have to go to "browse all games each time." This would be very helpful even if for some reason the current store page stays the same.
Um, that already exists? Or you mean something other than the search field at the top of any page?
It looks like the front page is finally working again.
I am on Chrome and it has been working fine for me except once it changed the language to polish and I am in the US.
The new site is completely broken on older Firefox versions.

Edit: I'm also having troubles logging in...

I really liked the old better, particularly the place where the News stood. I hate it staying at the bottom of the page, and with fewer entries showing.

I'm not sure what you mean by "haven't been around long." Could you elborate? I have not posted much if thats what you mean. I have never cared much for forums just here to play some good old games. This one seemed importent though.

Yeah see what you mean about the search bar. Its was not working before for some reason and I had to go to browse all games. Seems ok now. That could have just been me mistyping the name lol. Seems if you don't spell it exactly in the search games bar it wont show up.

New website sucks.
It's the windows 8, now 10 of digital gaming storefronts.
We don't care that Gwent the gambling lootbox game made you a lot of money your derivative work is shite and a front facing fascia advert is also shite.
Learn from peoples experience with Youtube, adverts during content pisses people off causing them to migrate to less advert riddled places.
I could be more eloquent and concise; but so could your website,
Fix it or simply put you'll receive less money; it's your business, unless you don't care about it that is.

TentacleMayor: I like that the new review section and system requirements are given more space. I hate the video autoplay.
Yup, the review-part is a nice upgrade.

FYI, Gwent is a really generous F2P-game. Just take a look at this:
https://as.reddit.com/r/gwent/comments/9w9ljq/it_takes_less_than_30_hours_for_an_absolute/
On top of that, one could argue that it´s even more generous then games that have every gameplay-related stuff unlocked right from the start, but keeps selling cosmetic stuff. Why that?
Well, in gwent you can buy cosmetic stuff with an extra currency as well as with the main currency. Therefor, being generous in gameplay-related-stuff translates to being generous in the cosmetics part as well!

Nah, it kinda sucks as well. The filters are pretty handy but the new ratings are VERY misleading.

There are different ratings for "overall rating" and "verified owners rating". At first I thought this was a great thing: have a separate overall rating from all the people who own this game in their libraries - a rating that would no doubt be much more honest than the overall rating (which may be influenced by politics, behind the scenes drama, hype,...). However, that's not how the "verified owners rating" works. The "verified owners rating" is instead the average rating from every verified owner who left a review on the game page. Big difference!

I find this very misleading. I have no idea whether this is deliberate or if it's just gog's signature style of half-assing everything, but it's been a major disappointment to find out that the one cool thing that came with the redesign is actually nowhere near as informative as it seems on the surface.

Good point, I was mostly looking on the technological part of the reviews section update.

You mean from every owner who just rated the game, even those who didn't review it?

Mean that if you (still) see GOG as reasonable and good and willing to listen and help, you probably haven't been paying attention to what's been going on around here for years now.

Go add your vote as on top of the re-design making buying things harder, the flood of DLC and Music packs that use th same graphics as the main game really make it a slog to get through what might be interesting to buy.

I have a spare 3.41 euro that is still spare as i just had to give up being forced to click on things to find out they are DLC or music packs. Sure 3.41 is not much, but i should be able to spend it without feeling it is a chore of time wasting.

I tried keeping an open mind with the recent UI design, but it's dreadful.

It feels like UI overkill - mouse hover animations, auto-playing videos, focus blur, ugh just stop, please!

Moving forwards would be to design a site that works well even on older phones. Right now it's practically unusable even on a desktop, let alone mobile devices.

Please remove all the animated crap and return with a streamlined design.

No game should have those animated banners on the front screen, I don't care if it's the DRM Free premiere of Skyrim, GTA, or even Portal 2.

(Just trying to notify a few I noticed mentioning browser issues more recently...)

Got a reply from support regarding browser compatibility. It's the expected bad news:

"I'm very sorry, but out website is no longer supported on IE11, and may not be optimized for Palemoon, or for other less popular browsers. Unfortunately this is not going to change. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I understand the sentiment you bring up, but I'm afraid there isn't much that I can do about the issue."
