Emob78: Hell, if anything most of what I saw was pure hatred for anything not Steam.
I really do wish Paradox would move more of their games here. I know there is some non-Steam voice around in the Paradox forums, but not enough to push them away from it, more "necessary evil" type stuff (e.g. Gigau).
Habanerose: Seen as their later games like EUIV and CKII have massive lists of DLCs, this might be one of the bigger reasons holding their release over here back.
I kind of think the argument of "there are more DLC so no release yet" is rather BS. I don't know how GOG deals with DLC on the publisher/developer end, but the user end is definitely usable. It's not great, but is usable. Overall, I think the system could definitely be improved, but if GOG is denying games because of it, that's BS, and if GOG knows that publishers/developers are delaying games, GOG should make that a major priority.
edit: Nothing against, Habanerose, just against the argument often used by publishers/developers/GOG. I also think there is somewhat of an anti-DLC culture here that I disagree with that may be part of the issue.
