I'm done watching Basilisk. Save for the lousy ending, I enjoyed it. I believe that the 2005 anime was a lot rougher though. I'll have to watch it again sometime.

Now I'm in the mood for a shonen, and I picked Black Clover! The first episodes are a total rip-off of Naruto. Enjoyable but I sure hope the series doesn't end up the same way.
Thunderbolt Fantasy season 2 just came out.
Thoughts on third season of A Certain Magical Index III ? (loved the original first two, the spinoff was OK...two great vocal tracks from those series...) but 8 years ???... The recent season of Full Metal Panic only started to warm up... (anyone know if tha'ts where the anime ends or???).

Recent reboots of the Yamato/Starblazers tv series 1 and 2 were good (will they do one for season 3?).

Black Clover manga is better than the anime.. by quite a distance..

Goblin Slayer anime is incoming (manga is awesome... the physical copies are sold with plastic sealing here lol).

Shingeki no Kyojin is still great (altho the latest seasons Opening sounds similar to the track from one of the Gundam series (00 ??)

Anyone know if there will be another season of Log Horizon, Grimgar (my favorite series and which i'm still following in light novel series), Koutetsujou no Kabaneri , One Punch Man or Ajin?.

Feels weird how IMHO some really bad anime (i wont mention any i dont like in case i offend someone who likes them)... go to 24/25 episode seasons and some really good ones only last to 12. I realise anime is meant to advertise the manga but still..
Index 3 should cover til the end of the original series, since the whole reason a third season is being made is most likely in order advertise Index New Testament since it's going to end soon and to bridge the gap between the two series for anime only watches so they'll start buyi all of NT in one fell swoop.

though I'd worry about the pacing if it's just going to be 26 episodes because while Touma's pov and some of the fight scenes could probably be pared down a bit like they did in the first season I can't really see Accelerator and Hazamura's povs working very well if they get shortened/condenced much since they were already pretty trainwrecky already in terms of pacing.

JinKazaragi: Depends, the oldest one didn't age very well, the Golden-age-movies are good but only cover die beginning of guts story and the newest anime looks really bad (I don't blame the people who made it, the budget was very low for that one).
So while it's one of the best mangas I know, the anime is not something you really need.

SeduceMePlz: Sacrilege! :P

I like the older series best
Yep, it's the only Berserk animation worth watching.
1. Another (school/horror/gore)
2. Blood-C (school/horror/gore)
3. Persona (megami tensei)
4. Death note (school/psychological)
5. Naruto Shippuden (shounen)
6. Sakamoto Desu Ga? (Slice of life)
7. Mahou Shoujo Site (Psychological)
8. Death Parade (slice of life/psycho)
9. YuGiOh (card game)
10. Aldnoah.Zero (mecha/war)

I like these anime. You can pick what you like from above. Or just check out on nihofun.com
prison school is good
No one watching the current season? Though it seems a bit low on quality.

Dr.Stone's pretty nice, about a guy trying to resurrect humanity/civilization after the entire world got wiped out.

Kimetsu No Yaiba is still going strong from last season.

Enjoying DanMachi S2 as well.

The isekai this season seem to be pretty weak so far.

Sildring: Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad - [ Music / Slice of Life ]
I love Beck!

Fourteen-year-old Yukio "Koyuki" Tanaka is a dispirited young boy with no goals in life. However, this all changes when Koyuki saves a strange-looking dog named Beck from being harassed by a group of local kids. The dog's owner, 16-year-old Ryuusuke "Ray" Minami, is an emerging guitarist and the former member of a popular rock band.

After Koyuki meets Ray again in a diner, the older boy leads him to his former band's meeting place and dazzles Koyuki with his amazing guitar skills. Slowly becoming interested in the glamour of western rock culture, Koyuki decides to start playing the guitar while helping Ray achieve his dream of leading the ultimate rock band. Together with Ray's younger sister Maho and a few other members, the two boys launch their career into the world of rock by forming a band called BECK. Beck follows the group's struggles and successes as they spread their fame across Japan.

My favorite scene Follow me - Maho and Koyuki
Second favorite Moon on the water - Maho and Koyuki

Follow me
Baby, I won't let you leave if you believe in me
And I always set you free from all those yesteryears
But you don't know how much,
I got believe in you.

I was staring at your shoulder shivering
In such a coldest summer breeze
Meanwhile, I wonder why where here
Look for the line between love and friends
We'll be twisting ourselves again.

I was standing at the corner on the street
Watching the wheels turning free
Waiting to get back on my feet
Reading the line between night and day
I'll be twisting myself again
Kiznaiver. Does anyone know if this is any good? I just came across this track on Youtube and I really enjoyed it. I read the synopsis and it sounds interesting as well.
I would recommend:

- Black Lagoon
- Space Dandy
- Plantees
- Fairy Tail
- Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Don't watch anime, it lowers your testosterone level!

Can't shake the feeling that this thread was necro-bumped to just make it look like there is a huge interest for anime games now, in general. Someone may be very tactical. :D Many gamers are quite not happy with it here and anime "needs" mostly positive and active looking, long as possible threads to make it easier to justify what kind of anime they are pushing now. But that view would be a lie, since there are years of difference between posts here. :D

But what I know, just my two cents. I was just having the impression that a big necro-bumping is frowned-upon by mods themselves generally on the internet (even while I never really cared). Not sure how it's here. I just wanted to point out it's an old thread here, because it does makes me a bit confused. And it could confuse people that care about recent recommendations.

I personally don't recommend any anime games here.
