OK, now I think they are underselling the game. :-(
(I know, some people are never happy...)
I'm guessing they are expecting that more people are willing to "pile on" to something that is certain, and through this momentum, reach higher values. But I'm afraid it seems that they are losing steam on their campaign on their third day.
I'd join in, as Arcen seems like a great company, but I haven't played any of their games yet, and my previous experience with Kickstarter games has not gone as well as I expected (over one year delayed). So I think I will pick up AI War now, and if I enjoy it (I expect to), get it here on GOG (YOU HEAR ME, GOG? Please vote here:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/ai_war_ii).
PaterAlf: AI War is rank 82 out of more than 600 games in the Indie section of GOG (sorted by bestselling). I doubt that they will turn down the sequel.
Has GOG provided information on how they compute "bestselling"? Total number of copies sold by GOG?
MaGog tells me that AI War was already out for 4 years before it showed up here on GOG, so if it would appear here on day one, I expect it to do well.
