Big changes are here.

My Account is the heart of your GOG.com experience. It's the one place that's 100% yours, and the place you always go to download your games and manage the entire library.
Starting today, your My Account is completely new - remade and redesigned from scratch to better support our growing library of games and many of your biggest requests. Aside from every usability fix we could think of, we've also introduced brand new tools to keep your library organised, and new social features to stay in touch with your friends.

The list of new features is long, but you can see the whole thing on our forums. The most important highlights include:

--Support for friends lists and chat.
--Shared wishlists.
--Advanced filtering and custom tags for your library.
--A new, detailed order history.
--Accessible game changelogs.

We're sure that these new changes will greatly improve your overall user experience on GOG.com, and we can't wait to hear what you think on the wishlist and right here in the comments!

It might take a while for it to show up but you can see it when you browse your account through a regular browser and not GOG Galaxy :) See my attachment :)

Have only taken a quick tour of it so far, but my impressions are generally favourable. The Orders list is especially useful, with the ability to view the purchase details and to filter down to unredeemed gifts.

The game box Shelves aren't as charming as they used to be. They load faster, but at the cost of having to navigate through multiple pages. The download portion of each box is okay, though the background art is somewhat superfluous. Seems like this is the anticipated deathknell for GOG Downloader, though.

Probably the change I like the least is Chat, where it's not obvious to me yet how to add paragraph breaks to a message. The enter key just sends what you've written in the box.

Trilarion: I guess it also might be that he did not share his wishlist with everyone but GOG just falsely displaying it.
To follow up: yeah, it seems he set it to "friends only", so I would guess a bug's letting the link show for everyone despite that.

I really like the new look. A couple of things I would like added:

1. The ability to not show certain tags (for example, completed games);
2. The ability to show all titles on one page; and
3. (wishful thinking) the ability to re-order games.

I am enjoying tagging my games :)

Maybe a small label next to the box to explain this. Not everone knows such things.

Or a placeholder text: "Enter to send message. Shift+Enter makes a paragraph." which disappears when you start typing which is standard behavior for text input boxes in html.

Thanks, I figured it would be something like that. Would be nice to have a checkbox toggle instead ("Enter Sends Message"), but I can cope with keyboard shortcuts. I've not played with the Account much yet, just got up and am getting ready to head out to breakfast with friends. I'll have a better grasp of it all later.
I just made a new thread, but I'll post here, too. GOG is emailing me every hour, giving me a previous entry in a PM thread with IAmSinistar. It started 14 hours ago after IAmSinistar sent me a PM.
Interesting. Now the loading works with normal speed. Don't understand, why didn't work it some hours ago ...

I do appreciate some of the organization tools in the library, but everything else is so inefficient. So much more clicking to get around to anything. Before I just loaded my library page and clicked on my game. Everything would show up right there on the same page. Now it's a clickfest. I also don't like the downloader links buried deeper into the system.

True. And let's say you are on Page 3 of your library.Click on your game and check the GOG downloader links. Then go backspace. You get knocked to Page 1.Irritating.
Couple things

So I logged in this morning to the website, saw the rollout of the new site functionality, and checked my wishlist preference. It was defaulted to "nobody". When I was able to fire up Galaxy, it had it defaulted to friends. I then checked on the website, and it said friends. Not sure if that's the default only for Galaxy and Galaxy updates the site with its settings or the default changed in the time between me checking the site earlier this morning and me starting up Galaxy or if something strange is going on there.

I think I read somewhere you said that Chat would preserve your old PMs. Mine are all gone. Also, on the *website* Chat, peoples' icons are not showing. I just see empty grey circles. It would be nice to show Offline folks under the Online folks on the *website* Chat just like the Friends dialogue pop-out works in Galaxy.

Oh, and what are the dropdown arrows for on the Friends page?

Hmm, the Friends feature seems broken at the moment. When I clicked the down arrow next to pending friend requests, there is no menu. Not on the website or in Galaxy.

How come you have two versions of Shadow Warrior (2013) and not me? (on Win 8.1 64bit) ;)

Please bring back the manual section, because now all the games are out of order and in worst positioning than Steam. I'm not a fan of this change.

One: Library takes up too much space and has less games on screen.
Two: Can not reorder games manually. Now series are all over the place.
Three: Sadly Steam gives you more control over your rentals.
Lastly: Why couldn't the GOG team let us (The paying customer) know this was going to be the new Library. I spent a decent amount of time fixing the order of my games after the Unbunling for nothing.
