On one hand citizens seem to be unable to go through forest, on the other hand they have no problem to trample down the wheat fields whatsoever. They should do the former but not the latter.

I would like to have an option to remove trees without having to build woodcutters. I would suggest to have the builders do this, perhaps with an area selection.

A strange problem are the monks in the monastery. They live in the monastery but unfortunately occupy space in the houses as well. They are unhappy all the same. Poor creatures. What to do with them?

The game tells me constantly that there are several citizens unhappy with their housing/water. How am I supposed to find those citizens? Click every single inhabitant? Every single house? Examination of happiness in the citizen window leads to no result.
Bottom left corner is a Villager List button that shows them all with little faces in a column showing how happy/angry they are.

Yes, I know that. I do the following: I sort the list by happiness, choose a citizen with an angry face and look what problem he might have, where he works, lives, does he have enough food, water, etc. While I'm looking he goes shopping, gets some water, thus changing his happiness from unhappy to happy. BUT the number of unhappy people shown in the upper menu does not change. It remains the same whatever I do.

I have placed numerous wells, markets with all foods and all luxuries, churches – to no avail. The number remains stable. Yesterday I thought it might be the unhappy monks, but that has been taken care of in the last update. They are all happy now.

Before the update I had 6 citizens with housing/water problems at an overall happiness of 94, today I have 10 citizens with this problem, overall happiness being 98. This change came with the update. Now the 10 remains stable, never changing according to actual happiness of citizens.

It seems that they wait until all of their needs are at 0 before fulfilling their needs, which brings the happiness score down. Because of this,it is near impossible to achieve 100 percent happiness. I did it once, but it was short-lived. I usually hover around 98 to 99 percent happiness, that is, once I have my village stabilized and running smoothly.

I have no problem with changing happiness, I try to keep it high, but it sometimes drops to 92, 86 ... Then I take care of the problem and it goes up again. But this number I'm having a problem with NEVER changes. Whatever I do it remains the same. It seems to have no relation to the overall happiness but I can't figure out what (or whom) it relates to. I have watched this number for a longer period, expecting it to change with the number of citizens, with the amount of food available, with space for houses to build upon or number of wells or what else comes to mind. Nothing. Nada. Niente. Zip.

Maybe I have to accept that there are some inhabitants of my village who are always foul-tempered. A question of character it seems. ;-)
What we need is a density view for needs like Lodging, Food, Goods, Service and Luxury. That way we can see where people are or are not getting there food, water, ect. and were we may need to place another well or another small church.
