Oh, I don't know. I kind of agree with the OP. When I played this game shortly after it came out, I attempted to play stealthily but quickly became frustrated. The enemies seemed omniscient in their ability to locate and drill me from wherever regardless of how carefully I crept around the map. Crawling prone through the bushes only to be sniped from a couple hundred feet away can get very old very quickly. I saw this issue mentioned in many of the original reviews for the game, so I'm sure it wasn't just me. Maybe it was fixed via patch later after I had already finished the game?

i had the game on the easiest difficulty and i couldn't just run around guns ablazing. I had to duck behind cover, and time my bursts to when i heard their gun fire stop. stuff like that.


I guess if you don't like far cry, you don't like far cry, and theres nothing to be done about it. I'll put in the hours all those other far cry haters wont put in! :)
