First when I install mods will it disable achievements?

Second if not what would be the best mods for better load times, less bugs and less crashes?

I'm trying to keep this a vanilla as possible just less buggy and better loading.

Unfortunately, I do not use GOG Galaxy, but, if that is a concern, I had read that you may use Buffout 4 (which includes an achievement re-enablement patch).

My Fallout 4 gameplay experience has been fantastic while exclusively using High FPS Physics Fix. The only changes that I had made to my HighFPSPhysicsFix.ini file (within [Fallout 4 main directory]\Data\F4SE\Plugins) are as follows):
DisableBlackLoadingScreens=true
DisableAnimationOnLoadingScreens=true
InGameFPS=60.1 (Note: in your case, it may be unnecessary to alter this from the default of 0.0)
FixOCBPSpeed=false

Why 60.1?

IIRC, if you have a 60Hz monitor the advice is to use 59.995.

If you have a VRR monitor, even numbers are fine.

I'm using 60 on my 165 Hz VRR monitor, because I really don't notice any benefit to running higher in this game, and at 60 my GPU runs cooler/quieter.

PeterScott: Why 60.1?
Your question is quite apt. I am glad that you had asked.

The previous year (2023), for the very first time, I had begun playing Fallout 4. During this period, I had utilized a 60 Hz monitor. At the time, if I correctly recall, the default of 0.0 had locked the FPS to 60 (in line with the maximum hertz of the monitor). I remember that with 0.0 or 60.0 (same effect, in this case), while having my player character walk around (even within interiors), motion was not as fluid as I had preferred (with a bit of frame-rate instability). Changing InGameFPS to 60.1 had immediately improved the overall experience (the previously-perceived issue had no longer been present).

Then, just as now, I had run the game on Linux through Wine (with DXVK). I am uncertain as to whether or not this had been a factor.

Months afterward, I had purchased my (now current) 144 Hz monitor. Upon reading your reply, I had tested the game with InGameFPS=60.1, followed by InGameFPS=60.0 -- I am no longer detecting any obvious difference between the two (but, I also notice that, just as before, with each value, the game is forcing the maximum hertz of the monitor, which, of course, is now 143.98).
Guys is there a list that can help me patch up FO4 but keep it vanilla as possible?
I used this guide

Ok I'll look into it.
