wutabumr: FOLON Launcher doesn't do anything... I'm stumped. I deleted any and all existing previous FO4 installs from Steam and all associated mods etc (were on a different drive but wanted to be extra safe on this)
Paid $16 for GOG version and installed. Then installed FOLON. After download/install, when I click PLAY the Launcher window opens and just sits there, blank, and does nothing.

Anyone have any ideas what is wrong here?
Try running the original fallout 4 launcher to set your video setting then launching the mod through the installer

Can't free Lazarus as the door already is open

Hi there,

I killed the Syndicate NPCs in Wintergarden, but the Syndicate Sniffer NPC somehow managed to open the door where Lazarus was locked behind.

Now I can't start the dialogue with Lazarus but I see the quest-marker on the openend door. There's no way of interacting with the door though.

Any idea on how to proceed?

- Manually download xSE Plugin Preloader
Drag and drop the contents of the downloaded zip folder into the Fallout 4 game folder:

- Manually download Buffout 4
Drag and drop the contents of the downloaded zip folder into the Fallout 4 data folder:

Принц Хакни после того, как я вколол ему укол и он ожил, не хочет выходить на улицу (и весь народ не выходит). В диалоге у него две строки (одинаковые) "До свидания" и "До свидания". Квест дальше не пройти. Плюс его друг, который отправил меня на ограбление банка, тоже не хочет сдачу квеста принимать, вообще не хочет со мной разговаривать. Квест тоже дальше не пройти.

wutabumr: Yeah it definitely isn't doing that. Just the plain black screen. Both FO4 and FOLON are installed under GOG/games. How would I know if isn't finding FO4? And is there an ideal way to organize the two downloads? Should they be in a shared folder? Never had problems with mods before so this is all new to me. Cheers
I'm getting exactly this to after attempting to install 3 times, which on my internet connection takes days!

I have a situation where my game is having fast forward gameplay & when I chat with the NPCs they talk with no stop, and my gameplay is like I'm playing x2.00 fast-forward play

Installing Buffout 4 & xSE Plugin Preloader, like advised, solved the constant crashes!

Guide is missing advise to download the lastest versions before the ng update.

why should I hand you my Steam login data through some fishi 3rd party software?

Whoever does that and get hacked or looses his steam account through other ways will never get it back. That's even against STEAM® SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT.

Steam has an integrated way to connect accounts or to let other software connect to your steam account. Using such a tool is just plain blank stupid.

Q: When I load the game I'm getting the vanilla Fallout 4 music/background video
A: Delete the ini files found in Documents/My Games/Fallout4 and replace them with the ini files found in GOG/Games/Fallout London/_AppData.


I cant find any ini files in the appdata through fallout london in the gog files. any suggestions??

And if you haven't disabled 2FA, your credentials are not sufficent to login!

If you don't trust them, use the manual downrgade guide!

Wrong music/video is usually caused by using Fallout4.exe instead of the Fallout London launcher.

@cman: sorry didn't saw that part in the QA section.

I'm sure they mixed the folder name for the .inis up!

It should be GOG/Games/Fallout London/_Config (or GOG/Fallout London/_Config in my installation)!

Another tipp from my reddit link
If you're booting up the Steam version of the game via our launcher or f4se_loader.exe, and immediately have an infinite black screen, Steam may be trying to do a "pre-cache shader update", which gets stuck on 0% on heavily-modified versions of the game until you restart Steam. This probably won't be happening to many people but if it does restart Steam, go to Steam > Settings > Downloads, scroll to the bottom and turn off "Enable Shader Pre-caching", and restart Steam again.
If that doesn't help, try delete Fallout4 und reinstall wth a more recent downgrader (search on github for Fallout-London/FOLON-FO4Downgrader). You installed Buffout 4 1.28.6 and xSE Plugin Preloader 0.2.5.1 as recommended? Any crash logs in Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE?
