I haven't finished Conquistadors yet, but I like the camping system. It really adds to the sense of trekking through wilderness.

I'm content if it takes place a bit less often in the next game though.
Well, still not released here and the page says TBA / "Coming Soon"... It seems version 1.0 on Steam had some bugs (there's already a patch out) with a second one on the way) so I guess it's not so bad to wait a little while. I just hope it will be released here within the next few days. I took a week of vacation next week specifically because this game was coming out, but I don't want to buy it on Steam.

Edit: OK have heard from Logic Artists that there was an unexpected error with the GOG build, but they hope to have it ready for release tomorrow.

Come on GOG, gimme the game! I'm too hyped to wait much longer and Steam icon is oh-so-close.

:-(
Damn, I was so looking forward to this but discover the game has regional pricing. Hopefully that'll be dropped in the future, then I'll buy it.
What's the next Expeditions game in the series?

A third Expeditions game hasn't been announced yet. Whether or not there will even be one depends on how well Vikings sells.. Logic Artists is a pretty small indie studio so every sale matters to them. I do hope it ends up being a success for them as there is great potential with this series. I wouldn't mind a DLC / expansion for Vikings either (perhaps a chance to go to Frankia (France) after the British isles...

historically the vikings bounced back and forth depending on who was easier prey at the time.

Here is a hint for you (spoiler, obviosly).
