I have the PS3 version of Dark Arisen, and in the Blue Moon Tower area there are floors that are for all intense and purposes mirages. In that if you walk on them you will fall through the floor into the water and die. Now I have been operating under the assumption that the game was rushed and the BMT area wasn't quite as finished as it should have been, since they are not pit traps or anything else that looks like intended behavior, but there hasn't been a patch for the game since I bought it.

So my question is, is this fixed in the PC version?

Note that the game is perfectly playable as long as you aren't trying to get to hard to reach areas in BMT (Also, BMT is the only area where I've found these illusionary floors). However, not only is there often chests and gear in areas you have to be creative to get to, the Dark Arisen expansion introduces a series of quests that are explicitly "Go to this area of the map you would normally never even try to get to", so if this is intended behavior, it kinda flies in the face of what the rest of the game seems designed for the player to do.

I have played the Steam version for over 300 hours and don't remember a single instance of me falling through the floor anywhere in the game.

I don't see why the GOG version would be different in that regard.
You mean the floors in harder to reach places? You'll still fall through those. They didn't really "fix" anything for the PC version. Just removed the black bars, add an option to adjust FOV a bit (could've been more radical but way better than vanilla) and that's pretty much it. Oh yeah, Guts and Griffith armors got removed from the game due to licensing issues and modders still haven't found a way to add those back in.

WHAAAAAAAT?!??!?

When I saw this in the product description:

"Includes all previously released DLCs, pre-order bonuses, retailer-exclusives, and the Dark Arisen expansion content."

I thought this meant the Berserk items were still included. Dang it! I wonder if this will be the case with the PS4 port as well. Man...that really bums me out.
It's not a DLC, preorder exclusive, etc. the stuff was in the base game. I don't see them renewing their license for the PS4 port either. If they could/wanted to do that, they'd have done it already.

It's a real shame indeed though, I miss the Berserk stuff too.

I (finally) have good news for you: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/776?tab=description

Edit: with an important detail:
Note: I don't have a GoG Alon file, if someone plays on GoG and can send me his npc398 file and the bbs_rpg.arc, I can make a GoG version of this mod.

Haha! Yes!

Thank you so much for sharing the link, VanishedOne! A worthy reason for a necro-post!
I will definitely be giving this a try once they get a GOG version working!
