I must amend my problem here. The escape sequence will play for levels 1 and 2, but for no other level unless I unset my level music. Or maybe I'll "unlock" having the escape sequence for level 3 when I beat that level WITHOUT the level music after having beaten the 2nd level WITHOUT having the level music. Sorry to bother you guys with this problem, but it just bugs me some. I'll create a new thread if I have to.

It seems that it works for me on many levels unless I'm invulnerable or something. But one exception at least: I don't get the escape sequence on level 7. I tried that on multiplayer bounty mode.

So what's that guy's email? And what should I send him and how?

You should send him "descent.cfg" and the two files that are your player name and end in .plr and .plx (if you used my installer they'll be in the "Players" folder).

He also wants a screenshot of the folder that has the music in it.
To do that simply open up the folder (so you can see everything inside it) and click the "Print Screen/Sys Rq" button on your keyboard. (It's usually above the insert/delete/home/end square of buttons) Then open up "paint" and paste. Then save the image.

You can then send the first three files and the image to zico <at> dxx-rebirth.com

I sent him the email. Hopefully the problem's an easy fix.

You're welcome! :) And actually I just added the ability to extract the .sow files from the original Descent disks :)

Two bugs:
1. The installer still seems to attempt to extract the .sow files from my GOG version, resulting in messages about temp files during the installation. Other than that and the HQ music not being put anywhere correctly (I had to go to the site and download it myself), all works fine.

2. I'm not really sure if this is the installer's fault or not, but I used the installer to put a new version of DXX-Rebirth up and I've never had this problem beforehand: both D1X and D2X will quit for some reason randomly, and it always happens while I'm actively flying/shooting at the same time.
