I can confirm waiting finally worked for me after a lot of time. I wasn't the first to signal this problem but I'd consider it solved on my part

I got it to finish by pausing it and restarting the download several times.

Just wait, probably it's uncompressing the files and applying the update

check task mgr. if it's writing to disk. It does take awhile.

Not really... I have 250 GB free space, still stuck on 57%

EDIT: It finally got completed, just keep waiting, space has nothing to do with the 56-57% stuck

Pause the update, close GOG, restart gog and the update should finish without issues, if the update does not start on auto
restart it manually

Peffectly normal for this wierd patch.
Just let it be.

I was stuck at 56% for two hours.
It's now up to 86%
