I see gog start updating cyberpunk 2077 but unlike the inital download this is being VERY disruptive... preventing me from smoothly playing any games that require hard drive access.

It's been at 56% for more then an hour now.

What gives?
Is this happening for everyone else?

Did you download the game to an HDD, or is your SSD full?

mine finally downloaded but god was it slow. it's just 10GB and i had a download speed of 1-2MBs yet it took like 3 hours to download.

DL was fast (about 20 MB/s - yes MB) - patching took about 30min on my HDD

Mines stuck at 75% and SLOWLY getting higher!

For me, the download was pretty quick. Applying the patch, however, took close to an hour. Not sure what the deal is but just keep at it (if you're still not done).

Doesn't change the fact that this is taking ridiculously long time to patch!

Oh, that sucks :( Hopefully it finishes in time for you to launch the game when it's unlocked!

My game is still saying "Go back to sleep, Samurai. it's not December 10th yet!"

Even though today is INDEED December the 10th

it was updating and now it still won't launch?!?

If your patch worked, be happy.
The official launch is still an hour and half away.

Oh and mine is now showing 57%... yay for progress! :-D

Good for you but mine only redownloaded the 58GB again!
It was so so weird I did nothing and it was updating the 58GB again?!?

Seems like if your update is stuck at 56/57% you don't have enough free space to apply the update.

The update also stalls at 92%, but you just have to wait at that point
