Archonsod: Or they just have different expectations of an RPG. Personally I still think Baldur's Gate ruined the cRPG genre by turning it into some half-baked storytime. I don't particularly want some sub-Hollywood plotline or choose-your-own-adventure style dialogues, what I mainly want is a well realised world, some interesting systems to interact with and the freedom to play with it as I see fit.
Well that's certainly... a take.

It's not a perfect game and do whatever all the time, some bugs here and there and seriously needs a beefy pc to play how it is meant to be played.
On the other hand though it feels like no other game has in a long time or ever and when it's good it's really good and occasionally you are in combat and are like how awesome is this and in that same second notice some bad ai or it was just me trying to hit wrong person ^^ after that you are taking in the atmosphere and are walking around in the beautiful scenery and feel like this is great then you weirdly stumble on small chairs or some boxes and feel awkward about it.

Whatever the case I feel like this is a game most of us think in years to come in good and in the bad.
In my case I'm still in really positive side of the experience.
It´s as to be expected by a hugely hyped population: it cannot keep up with the "perfect game in every aspect" some are expecting, never will be.
But it´s a very decent game with some flaws, most of which will get sorted out over time.

I´m perfectly happy with it on PC.
Consoleros tho... yeah well... not a game for a console to be honest, they blew that a bit, to be fair.
Aside from the bugs, there's one small detail that sums up my experience:

Yesterday night I was doing one of the main quests and a whole new dialogue tree opened because of a generic Side Gig that I did at the beginning of the game. One of those "Go to point A, kill character X and get out".

The fact that a random quest like that can have even a small effect on the grand scheme of things really goes to show how much love CDPR put on this game.

If they manage to squash the bugs it'll be a great game that will be talked about for many years to come, I'm sure of it.

PS: There's also a lot of people complaining about things that are simply not true, like being forced to fight a specific boss or that side quests don't matter (well, my above example goes completely against this criticism). These people probably don't even like the kind of game that CP2077 is trying to be, they're only playing for the hype and I don't blame them for not liking it but it's still something worth pointing out :)

100% in agreement with everything here.

There are so many different outcomes and pay offs that come miles down the track. Even just the dialogue changes that are quite dramatic if you go in guns blazing or sneak in.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the kind of game I've been waiting my whole gaming life for.
